That picture is awesome. It might seem kind of cheesy in other films or universes, but Gotham has always been such an incredibly desperate, crime-ridden place. If there is any city where it makes sense to put in such extreme anti-crime measures, as well as make an official holiday out of a DA who put a legitimate Dent in the mob, it's Gotham.

I also like how it mentions that the job is almost done. Perhaps Batman's dream of returning Gotham to glory will be fulfilled by the end of the trilogy.

Didn't seem that way in TDK. Chigotham seemed like an okay place to live.

Saw Spider-Man, there was a new trailer

Few new things added like dialogue and such, but nothing that would be considered spoiler-ish

One scene
Bane: Mr. Wayne? And Bats turns around

I just read some interesting speculation on the "rise" theme of the movie on another forum. Sorry that's the best context I could think of for what's spoiler tagged below. Just speculation mind you.

That pit Bruce is in is the Lazarus Pit. Or Nolan's version of it. It's where Bruce Wayne is "reborn" as Batman. Rises from the dead, etc. That's your Lazarus Pit, made all the more better because it's a archetypal/physical/thematic Pit rather than a literal one with revival juices and magic.

That is the most logic thing that can happen, don't think
the bat is going to die.

I won't be able to see the midnight release cause of work early morning, and not even Friday release cause it's sold out entirely (not watching it on anything less than IMAX). The wait from Thursday - Saturday would be freaking unbearable!

I decided to watch in regular cinema on the day of release, then watch it in IMAX a few days later. The only IMAX tickets I could get were for the Sunday after it's out. I know when it comes out there will be major spoilers everywhere on the net, youtube, twitter, neogaf. The only way I see myself not getting spoiled is seeing it day 1.

Fuck!! Guess I'll do that too... The only way I see myself not getting spoiled is winning tickets to prescreening... :P

Same here.

Why watch it in IMAX with bad seats, when you can see it in a normal theatre, then kick ass seats @ IMAX.

Still, would have loved to be in that IMAX crowd @ Midnight. Its gonna be a madhouse.

Lawd, I know 164 is 2:44. I'm just saying people have been assuming 2:45 as the run time for awhile, so where is this new "confirmation" coming from?

Interesting that that site does not mention that
Cillian
was going to be in it.
Am also thinking that
Neeson is just there as a flashback
.

Was reading the Anne Hathaway interview in the Empire daily updates for the trilogy and was shocked to find that Nolan came in (again) under budget and finished 10 days ahead of schedule.

WB must love this man. And I am amazed how efficient he is.

Anne also mentions that while auditioning it wasn't exactly clear which female role they would be going for and she instead had prepared in her mind another part. I wonder what role that was.

Chrome is acting weird. Even spoiler tagged text is highlighted as a hyperlink when a name is or something is mentioned. In fact I am pretty sure I just got spoiled about something just by scrolling down.

How do I turn this feature off?
