Was reading the Anne Hathaway interview in the Empire daily updates for the trilogy and was shocked to find that Nolan came in (again) under budget and finished 10 days ahead of schedule.

WB must love this man. And I am amazed how efficient he is.

Anne also mentions that while auditioning it wasn't exactly clear which female role they would be going for and she instead had prepared in her mind another part. I wonder what role that was.

This is your first time working with Christopher Nolan and most of this cast is actors that have worked with him before...
I was thinking about this the other day. Am I the only newbie?

Yes, in terms of the top-line cast, you are.
So you want to know if there were any hazing rituals?

Were there?
No!

Chris Nolan doesn't strike me as a hazing kind of guy.
God, that would be the headline though! Not to sound wet, but it exceeded all my expectations, by so far.

Wait, what?

Wait, what?

This was probably a weird dream, but I remember a scene from the live action Batman show where Batman and Robin were digested alive by some huge plant-like creatures.

Now, to piece together these tracks with the 1 minute samples, and boom

Quasi-Soundtrack

Damn, Underground Army, bringing the Basssssssssssssssss

Is it me, or does
...Despair....
have something very similar sounding to Batman 89 ;P

And holy shit at the end of it.

maybe. I mean, the beginning sounds awfully close to the batmobile entering the cave scene with Vicki Vale.

can anyone tell me if there are clips of the nokia trailer music in those sound samples? Specifically the opening, which was very nice :O

I have not heard it any of the samples. I am hoping it's an actual piece of music, not just trailer music. It's really good.

Hmm, i found a youtube of the instrumental which is quite nice but I do want more, i too hope its perhaps part of one of the meatier songs.

Talking about the drum/bass hits? Could be something brought just to the trailer, or might be in portion of a track we haven't heard yet.

That's Gotham's Reckoning. But either slightly altered, or not on the sample.

Yeah it sounded like that but altered, would be a mighty tease of the cock to have it trailer only, so ominous :O

Track says it's 4 minutes long, and we've got maybe 1 1/2 minutes of it. Plus, if anything, there are ripped versions of the trailer tracks, so you can just have those to listen to as well.

While im here, not that i consider myself savvy to Nolan films, but does anyone else think they have a pretty decent idea how the films going to work? Save a few minor details and the absolute ending im thinking:

Batmans not batman anymore, its supposed peacetime, Bane comes in, Bane wants to see the end of Gotham, Batman forced back probably before he is ready, gets his ass kicked, finds a reason to keep trying, succeeds in the end but to a cost.

Not that this model is bad, but i would critique it slightly for being somewhat predictable, there are some things i know for certain such as castings etc that i wont go into that pad out the story.

Interested to hear if anyone else thinks the same.

If its just a snippet it will join the opening of "Macrotus" from BB, the first minute and a half are so teasingly good you wish you had more but its n'er repeated save for very very briefly in one track a bit later.

This bit to be precise

So vanilla. That's it? Batman loses, plays the Rocky theme, and wins.

We need crazy shit like Henry Cavil ripping off his Alfred mask to beat Bane before he jumps into the Lazarus Pit.
Then Bruce pulling out some kryptonite and ending Superman before Ras can transfer his life-force into Superman.
