Looks like the Beta has the same map restriction that the Alpha had.

inb4 alpha testers start to moan and complain about how beta doesn't offer any new content etc. for them to play.

Edit:
Okay normally I'm like "y'all need to shut up about chromatic aberration because sometimes it works well" but holy sh** its horrendous in Division. Also why the lighting so flat tbh?

CA is horrendous in everything. I don't understand why video game industry has such hard on for visual artifacting that is byproduct of using cheap and low quality optics in [video] camera. Same with lens flare, like why? You are allegedly playing as human character, not Chappie the Robot. Flatness of lightning may be side product from weak and/or lack of AO.

The beta content seems to be the same as what we had in the alpha. Looks like some UI changes, bug fixes, and perhaps increased level cap are the only differences.

So the alpha had a mission for Base of Operations and a medical mission for PVE content (besides exploring the world of course) and the rest was Darkzone?

Looks like it, the beta video just posted by Ubisoft shows the same content :)

Well there it is.

Have any of you guys done the Agent Test?

YOUR RESULT:
Perceptive

yup.....that was usually the best way to get items out....just bum rush the heli when it lands and clip.....you die, just go wandering again and ignore the LZ.

Also bummer that beta is the same as alpha. It means I'll be done within a day unless I want to go into the gank zone.

So aim for the head, like you should do?

nah, if you were consistent with body shots even. TTK isn't insane lol. Only the PvE mobs will probably be really hard and if you are severely under geared against other players. But brackets will level everything out.

I don't recall the alpha download being this large, so it's a little odd that the map restriction would be the same.

So just steady center mass hits? No crit damage?

no need......you could take players down fast enough if you knew how to aim.

killing really players isn't really that spongy

PvP on PC should be interesting then. After all mouse provides one with superior aiming speed, accuracy and recoil control. Rushing containers to rope may be 100% no go on PC for that reason if it's still somewhat viable on consoles.

I was completely uninterested in the devision until the other day, i'm starting to see what the game is trying to be and excited to play the beta now.

That will most likely be DLC.

Preview event in which youtubers got to play, and what is suggested for beta too, game started you at level 4 and arriving to Manhattan via helodrop with injured Agent in tow. Then there was dialogue about how shit went bad and how this is personal etc etc. This to me suggests that there is "tutorial segment" to the game that we are yet to see and extraction from there requires helo.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was Brooklyn, lvl 1-4 and inaccessible after completing tutorial segments and story prologue.

Interesting. I still think they will open up most of NY with DLC though, like the surrounding areas and such. The Season Pass for this game is the most expensive Ubi one yet so I am hoping for good content being released.

One thing I want to know, can you ADS with scopes you put on your guns, say like you could in Ghost Recon Future Soldier?

It actually depends on the zoom level. I believe if its more than 1.5 zoom it will go into first person. I believe that's how it works, so not all scopes will go into first person.
