I think they patched that out of bounds checkpoint so nobody can get that yellow gun

Before the server patch yesterday I had so many chests to open. Now there are No chests left or that I can open.

I have plenty of keys but no cheats after 20 hours of play

Update – 1/31/16 – 10:00AM PST: Over the last few days, we’ve seen an incredible amount of excitement for the game, leading to many of you registering on the waitlist for a chance to join The Division Closed Beta. We’ve been working very hard to let as many players as possible join while still maintaining a smooth experience for everyone.

Earlier today, we announced that we are now inviting as many players as possible from the waitlist, in addition to those who had guaranteed pre-order access. We’ve started sending invites with priority given to those who signed up first.

In order to allow everyone who has access to fully enjoy the Beta, we’re happy to announce we’re extending the duration by 24 hours for all players. As a result, servers will remain open until Tuesday, February 2, 12PM CET | 6AM EST | 3AM PST.

Thank you all for your amazing support!

Proximity chat is awesome. Love to just run arround all by myself and act i dont have a mic. And let people talk about me thinking i cant hear them haha.

Why would they think you can't hear them just because you don't have a mic? Are your ears in your mouth?

I never go in having a group. I just go up to the first person I find and invite them, and others I come across. There is also match maker for DZ at lvl 8.

@hamishbode just confirmed on stream that the final game DZ size will be what is represented on the map in the beta.
So roughly 3x the size, with DZ01 - DZ06.

The concept of the DZ is kind of hilarious.

Wait, did that guy have sweet knee pads and cut-resistant gloves in his fanny pack?! I MUST HAVE THEM. I WILL KILL TO HAVE THEM.

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
Don't know if this is common knowledge, but all the cosmetic clothing you accumulate is available for all your characters, without having to shuffle stuff around in the stash.

Nice.

Quick question, the loot that drops in the game. Is it destiny style, everyone can only see their own loot or is it shared and first come first serve?

Really loving everything I've been playing the past two days, just hope there's enough content & a decent story to hold it all together.

Having trouble deciding what platform to get it on though. Runs at a solid 60 fps on high settings on my PC, but I also like the idea of recording videos/taking screenshots on Xbox One (big fan of this stuff lol).

Loot from NPC's is personal loot.

Loot that drops from dead agents is free-for-all.

What I've really been surprised and impressed with in the DZ is it seems the majority of people leave each other alone as long as they haven't gone rogue. I'm glad.

So question about the dz. I spent a lot of time in there and when I get attacked by another agent and defend myself I go rogue if I fight back. Shouldn't that count as just killing a rogue agent without going Rogue myself?

Because most people expect you to be in a party chat. And dont see your volume wave moving.

... But they'd still think you had speakers and would know you can hear them even if you don't have a mic.

It's like saying "I love pretending to be mute so people think I'm deaf."

My squad got pinned down in the garage lower floor as rogues
we held off for like 20 minutes
It was so fun

Those chests are never loot able to me

Agreed. Defending yourself against a rogue shouldn't make you go rogue.

There's a threshold of damage you can do to a non-hostile agent before going rogue. Basically, people will bait you by shooting you to that threshold in the hopes of you instinctively retaliating and causing you to go rogue yourself.

I really like this game on PC

So far there are 2 concerns i have.

1) Too much of the game is client side (Might be on purpose for the beta to see what people do)
2) People seem to be going towards 'Eh i might get it on console'

Shame really. I want this to have a healthy PC community.

Extension is nice but i think ive played enough. The more i achieve, the more will be taken away when they wipe. Im ready and excited for the full game. Hopefully they have some beta time in the hours/days before launch that wont get wiped.

If item 1 isn't fixed before launch it goes from must buy to no buy for me. Literally game breaking.

Perfect. That's what I needed to know.

After positive impressions I'm pretty set on getting this game, but I'm sort of worried about getting it on PC? It's the obvious choice, but I worry about the population compared to PS4, basically, as well as how vigilant Ubi will be about cheaters. Do we have any indication on their plans with stuff like that, or how much interest is in the PC space? The PC version *looks* fantastic, but I'm willing to sacrifice that if it means a bigger community and better support. Ubisoft is so up and down with PC that I'm really not sure.

there are two problems with it. One that only a good GPU cost the same as a console and second exploits and cheaters that are great in numbers on the PC platform.

One of the tooltips or infomercials or whatever say they are on a 2h timer, and yes, its too much. I've seen 3 chests during 10h today and i had no keys for any of then :p

And I run into tons of those little plastic container chests and there's never a prompt ever for me. haha Oh well, been getting plenty of loot of NPC mobs when I find them.

With a AAA release like this, while one community will likely be larger than another, no community will be small enough to ruin the experience. If ps4 has 2m players and pc has 1.5m or even 1m, does it really matter?
