Proximity chat the real mvp.
Update 1/31/16 10:00AM PST: Over the last few days, weve seen an incredible amount of excitement for the game, leading to many of you registering on the waitlist for a chance to join The Division Closed Beta. Weve been working very hard to let as many players as possible join while still maintaining a smooth experience for everyone.
Earlier today, we announced that we are now inviting as many players as possible from the waitlist, in addition to those who had guaranteed pre-order access. Weve started sending invites with priority given to those who signed up first.
In order to allow everyone who has access to fully enjoy the Beta, were happy to announce were extending the duration by 24 hours for all players. As a result, servers will remain open until Tuesday, February 2, 12PM CET | 6AM EST | 3AM PST.
Thank you all for your amazing support!
It's just been extended till the 2nd of february![]()

Why would they think you can't hear them just because you don't have a mic? Are your ears in your mouth?

Because most people expect you to be in a party chat. And dont see your volume wave moving.
Good. Now fix the invincibility bug and we'll be good.
Quick question, the loot that drops in the game. Is it destiny style, everyone can only see their own loot or is it shared and first come first serve?

where did you get the classic m1a in purple?
Is there any word on if there will be more NPC enemies in the DZ at launch, or missions?

So question about the dz. I spent a lot of time in there and when I get attacked by another agent and defend myself I go rogue if I fight back. Shouldn't that count as just killing a rogue agent without going Rogue myself?
Why can't I open DZ chests dammit, no prompt nothing.

Same here. I come across containers in the DZ that should be lootable, but they never are for me. *shrug*

2hour respawn is the reason -.-
I really like this game on PC
So far there are 2 concerns i have.
1) Too much of the game is client side (Might be on purpose for the beta to see what people do)
2) People seem to be going towards 'Eh i might get it on console'
Shame really. I want this to have a healthy PC community.
The concept of the DZ is kind of hilarious.
Wait, did that guy have sweet knee pads and cut-resistant gloves in his fanny pack?! I MUST HAVE THEM. I WILL KILL TO HAVE THEM.
There's a threshold of damage you can do to a non-hostile agent before going rogue. Basically, people will bait you by shooting you to that threshold in the hopes of you instinctively retaliating and causing you to go rogue yourself.
What time does the Beta end? Just got a key and wondering if it's worth downloading.
Oh, ok. 2h seems a bit much to me, but whatever.![]()

One of the tooltips or infomercials or whatever say they are on a 2h timer, and yes, its too much. I've seen 3 chests during 10h today and i had no keys for any of then![]()
After positive impressions I'm pretty set on getting this game, but I'm sort of worried about getting it on PC? It's the obvious choice, but I worry about the population compared to PS4, basically, as well as how vigilant Ubi will be about cheaters. Do we have any indication on their plans with stuff like that, or how much interest is in the PC space? The PC version *looks* fantastic, but I'm willing to sacrifice that if it means a bigger community and better support. Ubisoft is so up and down with PC that I'm really not sure.
