I imagine most people were hoping for a UE5 remake. Maybe running the original code in parallel like Oblivion, that would have been amazing.

This is the most Ubisoft news ever. It still looks better than most games, but a cleaned up version with a full offline mode, or P2P mode so you could play with friends, would have been amazing. I love this game and it's sad as fuck that one day they will turn the lights off and we'll never get to play it again.

There's nothing to upgrade if you want 60fps on consoles. The PC version still shits on some AAA games being released today. The assets are already there to look amazing if they give you all the PC goodies.
