Update on the eu login server
Update: There are no changes to the the status of the login server outage for the PS4 ESOTU megaserver. We are continuing to work on resolving this issue as quickly as possible. We'll have another update at 10PM BST. Thank you all for your patience.

Just great

The NA guild is big enough to have our own guild trader and have the public buy our items.

But only the guild master can do that, and it cost money to get a guild trader as we will have to pretty much buy the guild trader from under another guild.

Who ever offers the guild trader the most gold, thats who the guild trader will align with.

So we need to big pockets to earn that right and keep it.

Buying stuff from other players off guild stores... There is no AH yes, but there is plenty of buying/selling.

I checked them before, they didnt have much items tbf

how much is a trader btw? do you need to constantly pay him?

Don't forget to visit the Stable master every 20 hours to feed your mount. In short, you pay 250g and you can raise earthier the Stamina, Speed or Carrying Capacity of your mount. The most lucrative is the carrying capacity, You can raise it by 60 inventory slots. Once you pay the 250 and select carrying capacity, it adds 1 additional slot to your carrying capacity up to a max of 60.

It is the same for stamina and speed of your mount. Those can also be raised up to level 60. But definitely invest in the carrying capacity as long term it is a huge benefit.

Is the mount bag increase account or character?

The game just launched, don't expect much so early.

There are 500 member trading guilds already and they will need to start collection money to pay for the traders. You have to "bid" on them and win them yes. You do not get them forever as a guild.

Only real issue I've been having today is NPC's not being where they should. Happened during a sidequest where an invading army just didn't show up, the soldiers were fighting thin air. Happened a few more times, but that one was just memorable.

Speaking of memorable, just destroyed an Anchor and afterwards a guy starting playing the flute. Decided to join in on my lute, and then another few guys just stopped to dance or listen. First time I really saw people use emotes, was great.

That is incorrect. The horse training is character based. I have four characters on the NA server, each with their own horse training levels.

This. Mounts are Account bound, meaning that once you buy a mount and it is your collectibles all your characters can use the mounts. However, as Dre_G stated above, mount bag space is by character, not account.

Thanks! What bout these 4 map containers. I can not put them in the bank. Can I put the maps in the bank if I open them? Should I do that?

WARNING:

Only open the Maps you get for the faction your are currently in and in the Zone you are in. I have run across a lot of people that opened them all up and now they are out of inventory slot space to keep them all. They give you a ton of maps, generally 5 or so per zone for every faction, opening them all up eats away at your inventory space.

On the PC, whenever I made a new character I would get a mail with a fresh set of maps for that character, but on the Console version, I don't think it is doing this. Which I think it should since.

Trading guilds are very good at swapping people in and out. If someone is inactive for more than 3 days they usually boot you unless you inform them first.

I made the mistake of doing this for daggerfall. Had to make a character just to hold all those damn maps.

Also after finding a couple of the chest, i see that the loot inside scales to your level, so ima just hold them all till I hit level cap and go on a old fashion treasure hunt.

All fucking day me and my friend have wanted to play this.
We cant even moan that much due to there being no damn sub, lol

Fuck that, I'd still moan £40 spent.

And nobody go on about MMO launches ffs, the EU server has been fine since it came out.

I fully admit to be an idiot on this but how do you successfully lock pick?

Everyone says release r2 as soon as you feel the controller vibrate, but that does not work for me at all

You are not the only one. I just don't get it

This is the video I used to learn it on the PC version.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9o8Xak1_pM&ab_channel=ESO-Fallout&ElderScrollsGuides

It should be the same on the console version. I don't see why they'd change it. It takes a few tries per pin for me sometimes, so don't get frustrated if you miss it the first time.

If someone is still having troubles with lockpicking, try turning off vibrate in the menu. I was having troubles until I did that and now I find it extremely easy.

I have an experiment in mind that I would like to put into practice and see the results.

I need 3 volunteers on the PS4 NA server.

All I need you to do is accept the guild invite that I will send you and I will dismiss you from the guild once I'm done.

If you would like to volunteer, quote this message with your PSN ID.

So should I just hold all 4 in my inventory until I am level 50?

Whoops!

I don't even get maps. I don't really feel like exploring to the point where I need to match a drawn picture with the surroundings. Especially on a game so big.

Is NA down or just super crowded? Been stuck to a queue > login failed loop for a while now. And queue message changed to position in queue: 0 approximate wait time: 30 seconds. :\

Question about guild trading.

I've read that you need 50 members in your guild to be able to open up a guild store and we've got plenty more thea that, yet I have no permission to sell anything.

Is there something specific I need to do in order to use the store?

NA Xbox and EU Playstation are both down. They're working on it.

Edit: telling me 30 second wait, so if 1 second = 10 minutes I might be here awhile

Edit; I'm in

You should have been sent one Bahlor, you're already on my list of invitations that have been sent out. I'll send them again to all of you when it decided to start working again.

Ooops my fault! Sry. Accepted the invitation. :) Just a question, shouldn't we all be able to add and remove items from the guild store? Thought it would make sense, especially to trade crafted items for dismanteling. (higher crafting experience gain)

I just got booted out after sitting at a Wayshrine load screen for about 5 minutes. Went to relog and I think I got an honest to goodness accurate queue message: 1476 in line, 1min 21sec.

Got my horse! and upgraded my bags!

Running around looking for crafting nodes is so boring. Keen eye is practically useless too.

Aight, so I finished my experiment.

I created a guild, invited some folks to it, to the point where the guild bank is unlocked.

And I wanted to see, what would happen if the bank is unlocked, and a member leaves afterwords, falling back below the ten member thresh hold???

Does the bank stay or does it go??? and if it does go, what happens to the items that were in the bank???

Well I now have answers to those questions.

When a member leaves, the bank is still there, but you lose the ability to deposit stuff in the bank, although you can still withdraw items thats in the bank, meaning they are still safe, if members decide to leave the guild.

I was wondering if it was like Final Fantasy 14 where the bank is still usable even if theres only one person in the guild. Looks that's not the case here. Thanks to the gaf member who helped.
