Comic-Con sounds like it sucks.

Nah, but you really have to do research before you go because it is super crowded and overwhelming. Vinny didn't know where the good stuff was, which is totally understandable.

Like he said that he went to Midtown Comics after to buy stuff, but there's a Midtown booth in the middle of the show floor that has most of the popular comics in stock. The selection there is huge.

And it sounds like he didn't go into Artist Alley or try any panels either. The main show floor is my least favorite part of Comic Con, personally. It's going shopping without really knowing what you want in a super crowded mall with too much of the same thing; they are not remotely wrong about Pops being everywhere.

But to be clear: the Comic Con crowds completely suck.

I stopped going to NYCC a couple years ago because the video game presence there had pretty much disappeared. Back in 2010-2012 it was almost like a mini e3 with all three console companies present along with some big 3rd parties like Rockstar (and even fucking Konami.) And going even further back to 2008, Sid Meier was at the Civ Rev booth signing stuff. You don't see any of that anymore.

It is the greatest time to listen to the Beastcast and also happy birthday to everyone but especially Felix. Kiss on the cheek.

Beastcast catchphrase game much stronger than the Bombcast
