Just thinking about Hulk in the last two movies makes me depressed. Look at the pictures above. That's the comic relief guy that runs around in an Iron Man suit and trips on his face because he can't run. That's the guy that wears a sweater and glasses and makes jokes about Hulk growling. It's great content for 6 year olds.
That scene did feel a bit weird since I thought Hulk's strength increases the more he enrages and fighting Thanos would enrage him when he started overpowering him.

I hate how they lied to us in the Inifinty War Trailer

But instead we got Banner in the Hulkbuster with bad CGI. Feels like something they changed very late. Maybe some legal thing with Universal?

Had nothing to do with Universal. Marvel owns the Hulk 100% and has full creative control of him. Universal only has DISTRIBUTION rights for a solo Hulk movie (which are reverting to Disney soon).

Originally Hulk bursted out of the Hulkbuster in Infinity War. They changed that in reshoots so Hulk’s debut would be in Endgame.

It was changed so late they even produced toys for it.

I just assumed Thanos taking him down that quickly prevented him from having enough time to utilize that. Plus, it was the first time he had received such a brutal beat down against a new opponen. Sure, Thor nearly beat him in Ragnarok but he knew what Thor was capable of by that point so that wouldn’t be so jarring for him. I assume that’s why he refused to emerge for the rest of IW, that he was still shaken by such an experience. In Endgame, it’s irrelevant as using the snap without the Gauntlet would naturally put him out of the fight for a while, it would be bullshit if it did nothing to him since we saw it hurt Thanos even though he did use the Gauntlet.

Thanos had the power stone.

Does anybody wonder if Hulk is packing heat? Do you look at Hulk and wonder if his cucumber looks like the right arm of 1980s Arnold Schwarzenegger?

The Thanos beat down would have been fine if he bounced backed even stronger. He instead runs and hides, becomes peaceful, and now only has one good arm. The Russos must not like him or something because he was so much cooler under Whedon.

Yeah Whedon actually cared about the Hulk and always made sure that he remained something to be feared even as he made him and Banner sympathetic. He was just a joke to the Russos and they made sure to completely cut his balls off by the time they were done with him.

my favorite marvel character all brawn talks so little but more relatable than these other heroes you get stressed out, stress turns to anger, you feel a rush of adrenaline and then can't control yourself for a short moment, then you calm down and turn back into bruce banner broke a few controllers as a kid haha

The tragedy of Bruce Banner will never be realized in the Hulk movies. You would need almost an A24 art style film to get to the core of Banner and the real tragedy of the Hulk.

Or you could read Jekyl and Hyde.
