The Humble Monthly Bundle

Steredeen, the WayForward game and Wasted make this a good buy for me. Going to be giving away Rocket League to some of my Twitch followers and Keep Talking to a friend, so all in all, I got my money's worth out of it.

Plus, I can try The Forest now.

Didn't have anything but nothing immediately interests me aside from Rocket League and The Forest, interested in trying all these games though.

The bundle is unimpressive when you don't know the games. It it the point of the bundle though: getting you to know about some great indie gems.

How? This month is excellent value. In terms of ''names'' it's not the best but in terms of actual quality it's one of the best bundles yet.

I know most of the names. Keep Talking is a nice surprise, but I'm uninterested in Dungeon, The Forest, and Titans. The other two don't look like my kind of thing, either.

This was an interesting bundle for sure! Glad I got it!

Does anyone know if Catgirl will be getting a Steam release? If so, will Humble give Steam keys for it? Thanks in advance

Im selling all the games from the bundle but wasted.

I had everything I was interested in alread. outside of the weird Wayforward game of course, but that was a disappointment.

My first month, looking at Steam prices the value is there but...I'm kind of underwhelmed by the selection. I'm glad I got Rocket League half off but online survival, RTS, strategy, rougelikes don't do it for me.

The Forest is probably the best open world survival game on Steam that is single player oriented. Even tho they did patch in Multiplayer about a year after release. Still tho if you ever wanted to experience one of these games without hundreds of people on the servers, glitches, shit performance, hackers and all the other bullshit tropes the genre comes with...definitely try out The Forest. Has some great AI and many neat horror elements. I haven't played it in a while but I am subscribed to its news. I can easily say it probably has the best support out of any early access game on Steam and has a very active community with thousands playing all the time. There are always patches for it and they add a lot of great stuff.

Note there is also a neat little cheat you can do by pressing some buttons at the main menu which let you play an easy mode of the game where you just focus on crafting and basic stuff. So check it out that way if you find the regular mode too hard, frustrating or scary.

No games expect Rocket League that I'm interested in. Hurtworld looks like a turd unlock. I've bought all humble monthly to date, but I'm not sure if I should keep the subscription or not.

Edit: Feels better after trading some games. May even keep The Forest and Maybe Wasted.

Edit 2: Who am I kidding. Of course I will keep my subscription.

Only had two of the games on my wishlist (The Forest and Wasted), but the rest of the list is a very nice surprise. Plus Rocket League is the best. I'm happy with my first month's subscription.

Really pumped for Keep Talking, I've been interested in that one for a while. You can play that locally by just printing out the manuals, right?

Exactly!

Keep in mind you're probably going to print another one after using it as a party game lol

Good point, I'll start with 2 copies and see how it goes.

This WASTED game. I've never heard of it before, but I am about 20 minutes in right now.

It might be brilliant.

I think that's a brand new game from Adult Swim so it is pretty unknown. Glad that your impression is positive so far though.

I've had The Forest since December. Game is a TON of fun with friends online but single player not so much. Exploring caves and building ewok villages in the trees is a blast with buddies. Be sure to give it a go!

That said, anyone got a spare Steredenn key for sale for a buck or so? :)

Crazy. It's not even released, yet.

I've been really impressed with the stuff Adult Swim has been putting out. They're not deep games, but they're generally a blast. Duck Game is one of my recent favorites and really looking forward to the console port.

Really solid selection of games that I would never have even thought to try otherwise - but they all look like a ton of fun.

Hurtworld isn't much of a tempting early unlock for next month, though.

thanx for the review. i was weary since it's EA

What are the chances someone here has The Forest and doesn't want it?

We can work something out.

If The Forest or Dungeon of the Endless were the "teaser" game I would of kept my sub. Wish Humble would get on the ball with better teasers.

I already have it, I'll send you the key when I get to my computer in a few

Played Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes tonight with my family. That was some of the most fun I've had in a long time, that alone made this month worth it. Not to mention the excellent Rocket League, which I'll probably gift or sell since I already have it on PS+.

keep RL around if you have a friend who has it on Steam who you wanna doubles with. can't do that with PS4.

also Keep Talking is one of the coolest games I've ever played ever. got it a few months ago, and a few friends who are NEVER down to play games would come over and say "let's play the bomb game!" after I showed it to them.

Rocket League was a duplicate for me. Zero interest in the other games. Don't even care about the preview game this month. I am out. I will pickup a hidden gem for $3 on the for sale thread if next month has something cool. Shame it got so crappy so quickly.

Nice of them to include the Crystal Edition for Dungeon. For newcomers, that means you have a character that makes getting started in the game much easier and less frustrating. Use the character included, Josh, when you're just starting out! (The ship you also got isn't as good as the character btw.)

Pretty pumped to check out Steredenn myself, and this Wasted game looks...weird and possibly stupid but also possibly awesome?
