The Humble Monthly Bundle

What are the current games? It's only advertising NBA 2K and Pillars, wondering what else is included. Skimmed through the last few posts and unless I'm blind, didn't see anything.

or I guess this doesn't go live until next month

That's how it works. You get one or two games announced for the upcoming month and the rest are a mystery. Sometimes they have Humble Originals, that are games not available anywhere else for a time, and Humble Debuts, which are games that launch in the bundle. Other things like exclusive demos or comics have varying value to Gaffers. LOL

I really want pillars, but I really don't want NBA 2K, I don't really have anything that hasn't been dirt cheap to trade either. I'll list some of the more interesting stuff I have, If anyone wants to trade anything on this list or multiple stuff even for a pillars key shoot me a PM.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown Complete Edition
Else Heart.Break()
Killing Floor
PAC-MAN™ Championship Edition DX+ All You Can Eat Edition Bundle
Trine 2: Complete Story
Torchlight II
Hitman: Absolution
Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition
The Last Remnant
Legend of Grimrock
Abyss Odyssey
Shadowrun Returns
Just Cause Collection (1+2 I think?)
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse - Wii U

Me IRL when I saw this thread pop up, then remembered the date and realized the new Humble Monthly Bundle isn't available yet:

Thanks a lot, fellas.

the whole bundle is only $12 (10.80 for new customers or like 11 if you are subbed for a year)

and it's not one of the headlining games.

I mean how much do you want it to be worth?

I just find it a bit strange. They sell the bundles as being "worth" over $100 in games, and they display the value of several of the past monthly bundles have been on their site (the last month I was subbed was apparently worth $179.59 according to the email I got).

I have no doubt that the full $49.99 MSRP of this One Piece game will be added to whatever August's total value will be, which will then be displayed on the site to help advertise for future months. If the game isn't available to you though, they are offering you less than 1/15th of the value it is being advertised it as.

Just giving a $3 store credit seems to completely defeat the point of buying the bundle in the first place to me. They should at least replace it with a game of equal value.

that sounds easy in theory but isn't in practice. it takes a decent amount of time to line up the contracts they use for the bundles so it's not like they can just slot something else in.

The dlcs for Burning Blood seem not to add much for their price tag. First dlc adds six alternate characters and the second one adds four new characters

It's not as if they'd suddenly find out it's region blocked, though. They would have known since they sorted out that game for the bundle.

What they should do is not be including region locked games in Monthly bundles. In "normal" bundles they're available to see what you're buying beforehand, so you can decide if a game not being available to you still makes the purchase worth it.

For Monthly bundles that's not an option, it's only for this leak that we even know about this, otherwise people affected would find out next Friday when they've already paid for the bundle. Games in the Monthly bundle should be available to everyone or shouldn't be included at all.

It's time to cancel your subs if you don't want in on this month. Don't wait until this afternoon to whine about it.

Considering there were 2 headline games for this month, how many other "big" (as in non-humble original) games are there likely to be? I'm not sure if the 2nd game shown takes up a slot or if it's extra.

So I early unlocked this month for Pillar's and I'm aware that the rest of the games aren't unlocked until next Friday. But what happens if I cancel my subscription today? Will I still get the games next week?

Canceling your subscription just makes you not auto-pay next month at the same date. The same link you have for your Pillars key will also have the other games as soon as they unlock.

Yes, you'll still get the games. The $12 wasn't just to unlock Pillars/NBA; you also paid for whatever was in the upcoming bundle as well.

Thanks. So do others usually pause their subscription or simply cancel?
