The Humble Monthly Bundle

I already have Offworld Trading Company and War for the Overworld, but the rest of the bundle is decent so I'm not complaining. Killing Floor 2 doesn't really interest me for next month, but its relatively low MSRP leaves lots of scope for other higher-priced titles to come...

Hey everyone, this is Dusk Golem aka AestheticGamer. I have posted on NeoGAF since 2011, and have decided to resign. I have enjoyed posting about horror games here for years, but I no longer wish to support the site and will be leaving for good. I will still be around the internet, I go by AestheticGamer on YouTube, I make games on Steam as Yai Gameworks, and I plan to go by Dusk Golem on other forums. I'll be joining an off-set of the GAF community leaving to try other ventures like ResetEra (Official Twitter for that here: https://twitter.com/reseteraforum ). I hope some of you who read this may consider it, and I plan to try to expose more people to horror games in the years to come. Just not here.

I hope you all are having a good day, and know I always loved the community, and in the end it's the community I'm going to stick with, not the site itself. If you want to follow me, my official Twitter is here: https://twitter.com/AestheticGamer1

Nothing's interesting there to me, so I'm fine with having just bought NBA 2K17 off someone a month ago. Won't buy into next month's bundle either.

Glad i didn't get this month's bundle. Other than i already own all the games that would have interested me, i really don't know what to think of them bundling 2 games that were fairly recently in a high tier of another bundle.

As for the next month's game, KF2 is frequently around £6...so that doesn't seem worth it to me.

Maybe the other games will be more valuable.

Yeah not sure about KF2, better be some hidden gold in the next bundle. but Overcooked + Pillars is good to me.

That said, does someone wanna play KF2 with me? NA central time.

Maybe the other games will be more valuable.

They probably will, but the game they show is what i use to judge if the bundle overall is worth it or just waiting and buying the games i want from others, that way i'm not just taking a chance and risking getting stuff that i don't think was worth the $12. The initial game not being worth the $12 (or close to it) on it's own means there would still be that chance.

Holy shit, I didn't know about War of the Overworld, as a huge DK fan I'm hyped.
And I knew we were getting Nongunz, that was the reason I paid for the month.

Anyway, if someone wants Pillars of Eternity PM me, I am available to trade.

So hows Killing Floor 2, worth getting if I didn't find KF1 all that great? Are they going to milk it with future DLC? That's off putting for me.

Pretty good bundle, bought a few hours before time was up.
Having said that, I wouldn't mind trading them (minus Pillars and I don't think I can gift NBA 2K17).

From the older bundles I'm looking for Hyper light drifter, Dark Souls 2, Superhot, Inside and Dragon Dogma.

I was a dummy and forgot to cancel my sub... but War for the Overworld, Offworld Trading Comapny, Wuppo and Overcooked were all games I came *very* close to buying during the Steam Sale, but decided against it because of a lack of money. Subsequently, I'm a very happy dummy, who's probably going to keep his subscription because Killing Floor 2 is also on my wishlist.

I subbed to my first Humble Monthly pretty much just because of Pillars of Eternity... I ended up with One Piece Burning Blood as well. I've already come out ahead in my eyes.

I already have KF2 though, so I might sit out next month.

Glad i skipped this month. Only thing interests me is Overcooked which i'm planning to get on Switch.
I'm not buying KF2 bundle either, i already have it thanks to PS+.

Oh, hey, that was a pretty good bundle. Only own Offworld Trading Company (which is great), and I'm really interested in at least Wuppo and War for the Overworld.

This moth was worth it for me just from Offworld Trading Co. and Wuppo.

If anyone wants a free Shadow Warrior key (expires tomorrow): 045Q9-5ZRKI-4WFC5

Bought Nongunz from chrono.gg recently, and have Off world Trading Company. Glad I never dipped on PoE though, despite always wanting to jump in. What's with the crazy different packages for that game? Is it all ancillary shit, or did they actually leave real content out of the base version?

Am I good to basically buy the expansion and play everything or do i have to bother with an obnoxious upgrade?

Man, Overcooked, Offworld Trading Company, and Wuppo have been on my "must-buy eventually" list since they came out. Super happy about this month's list.

The upgraded editions only adds out-of-game bonus stuff like the OST and a making-of documentary.

Nice bundle - Pillars and Overcooked were two games I was originally tempted to buy the other month but didn't, so this works out well. And I had almost finished Pillars of Eternity by the time everything else unlocked.

Wuppo looks really interesting.

Anyone know how to fix Overcooked's performance? It's reporting 60fps but the game seems like it's stuttering constantly and that shouldn't be the case (7700K, 1070).

How is the One Piece game for somebody that doesn't know anything about One Piece but likes fighting games?

It's...okay? I dunno, I've never been huge into One Piece but enjoy its insanity. I think that Pirate Warriors 3 is the better game, though. This one is interesting enough but the fighting doesn't feel all that great from what little I've played.

It also seems to be locked at 30fps, and I haven't found any workarounds.

RE: Overcooked judder - it's kinda like that on PC due to Unity (not hating the engine, just my experience, similar to Grow Home). I'd recommend RTSS set to lock your fps at 60 if you aren't already doing so, and that's probably as good as it'll get. RTSS reported a solid 16.7ms frametime and it felt mostly okay.

Okay, has anyone that's played Nongunz figured out how to exit the game? I mean, seriously...how to exit the game??!! For the life of me I can't figure it out. I can hit escape to get into what I guess is a sort of options screen, but fuck if I know what any of it means or how to make selections.
I feel like there's a cool game here, but the developer didn't feel like relaying any information to the player whatsoever. I don't normally write reviews, but I'm very close to giving this a big thumbs down.

This is the first bundle I jumped into. I don't think Pillars of Eternity was for me, so that sucks. Don't really read/watch One Piece either so uh oh. But, Wuppo, Nongunz, and Overcooked all look surprisingly fun. The dungeon keeper/civilization games dont, though.

Looking forward to the next one. This one seems like it's was a mixed bag for me.

If anyone still has a Trails in the Sky key and would like to trade for two of my keys.

War for the Overworld
One Piece - Burning Blood
Offworld Trading Company
Overcooked
Wuppo
Nongünz

Edit: Trade completed.

All weapons and maps are free forever, and there are tons of custom maps to play. The microtransactions are only for the cosmetic items.

Thanks for the tip - I'll definitely try that.

I don't know if I've played Grow Home on PC, but some other Unity games I've played recently (like Assault Android) run fine.

Press start, bottom icon, then hold A on the exit card/thing (this took me a while to figure out). Then go sleep in the bed by pressing Y.

Really weird game. I appreciate what it's trying to do, but having absolutely nothing explained is very offputting and doesn't make me want to stick with it.
