You had a good point and then do the same thing by ragging on the Vita.

The difference is that we don't go into vita-game threads to rag on the vita/complain about ports.

Pretty much, I love the idea of the Vita frankly.

Punch Quest is pretty fun. Man, I love punching stuff more than shooting stuff, haha.

I picked up He-Man. I am having fun with it. I don't know if it's because I love the IP, or the game is good though, hehe. It's looks nice, but I hate the stubby legs design. I wish it wasn't swipe to move and had just 2 arrows, or an option for that.

Yes, it's single screen, with multiple waves.

Thanks for the video!!!
Finally someone managed to show it, it was very clear....it was you in the video (voice)?
I can safely say I preferred it was something X-Com like.
Seems Battleheart without the charm.

BTW...I know I promised I wouldn't insist but...did you managed to get any info about Clash of Heroes and Ghost Recon from Ubisoft?

Ski Safari just came out with an awesome update: get a new Halloween-themed slope for 100 in-game coins (not IAP; just the actual coins that you collect in the game) for a limited time.

The map is pretty nuts. Such a great game.

Looks like I'll be re-downloading it for a third time. :P

I'm looking for an RTS game similar to Red Alert optimized for the iPhone 5. Any suggestions?

Well, there's...Red Alert.

But I didn't think it was great. Of course, I'd never played a RA game before and the game does diddle to teach you the basics.

Yeah Red Alert on the AppStore is horrible. Not only is it super stripped down but it hasn't been updated in ages.

Lets talk a little about Starbase Orion. Two major problems it had was lack of diplomacy and a way to switch between planets easily.

They just updated to fix both.

If you have any interest in 4x or strategy or just want a deep well supported game, you really need to pick this up.

Back at 0.99, Universal and updated for the iPhone 5 (blah, EDIT: seems like it isn't out yet but soon!)
Polara should be getting some more lovin, guys!
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/polara/id551864396?mt=8

The random gets to me though. I can kinda do well in the normal story mode (I can remember all the challenges, etc) but random is hard :/

anyone got tips to share?

I'm on chapter 47 and I still can't stand the lack of iphone 5 support. So many times I fail by not touching far in enough on the screen

man Letterpress is basically unplayable right now, GameCenter must be taking a huge beating

Thought it was just me!

Anyone else finding the game pretty easy? I've won every match thus far without issue (one is almost over and is actually going to be close), and one match had a guy forfeit after my initial move which used a bunch of letters but also is a common slur (has other meanings too, which is why it worked fine).

Totally worth the $1 for the ability to play a ton of games.

I'm not sure why they picked that one...or the DDP before it. They have more interesting shooters I'd like to see come to iOS, namely Muchi Muchi Pork (and Pink Sweets).
I wonder how much they made off Windows Phone. I'm guessing it was just exclusivity ending plus spreading the cost around to try to earn more off the work.
I didn't pick it up yet..but I like the clean look, but didn't know all the stages look about the same.. How's the game play though? Sounds like the controls and scoring is simple this time around. I've never been able to completely wrap my head around the different nuances of the scoring and having to switch shots.
It's designed for touch screens and mobile play in general, I'm preferring it to their other games on iOS as a result. If you don't mind the aesthetic the game itself is fine.

I think Rayman and The Room for me

New to iOS. I believe it was on Windows Mobile previously.

I'm not a fan of the game at all. :(

DoDonPachi Maximum seems kinda cool thus far. But I'm not sure whether it's because the framerate is not super-smooth (though more than decent) on my iPhone 4 or because it has to do with gameplay and music but the game just makes me wanna play DoDonPachi Resurrection more... Resurrection remains utterly fantastic, love it.

I've got a really fucking annoying problem. Lately, when I want to download something from the app store it says: "Store not available". I have to wait for like five hours and then it HOPEFULLY works.

What gives?

ZiGGURAT is again in the App Store.
Now it appears to be self-published by the dev, so is a new app.
$0.99, Universal.

Thanks! I've been waiting for this to come back. Buying right now :-) and DDPM is solid. The music and the action. But I could see why some would turned off by the visuals. Is no ESP2 or DDPR, but I like the flow and patterns compared to those two. I feel like I'm actually being challenge(I play ESP2 in hell mode, and get it to the third without dying)the VR look to DDPM reminds me of Philosoma for the PSone, for some reason, lol.

Oh man Ziggurat is really awesome, why did I wait so long to play this? Very satisfying shooting mechanic and it's gets really frantic. I like it.

I've also been playing tons and tons of Punch Quest and I'm really impressed. It's so clearly influenced by Jetpack Joyride but I find the second to second gameplay much more satisfying and challenging beyond being simply relexes. The quests reflect this as well, being far more skill based than JJ. Ad it's nice to see Rocketcat returning to the endless runners they do so well.

Des anyone know the best way to take down torches? I have the quest to break like 18 torches in a single game, I can barely get one or two...

Any tips for busting 15 torches in one run in Punchquest?
Edit: think I got it

How does CP work in Zookeeper Battle? Just started playing.

Will I forever have to buy bottles to keep playing online?

Quit while you're ahead. I've spent $20 in the past week or so. It's criminal that there's no unlimited option, and simultaneously genius.

I just play 3-5 matches then put it aside for a little later since at that point I usually end the match with several minutes of wait left for the next refill... It's a fun game but not nearly addictive enough for me to feel the need to pay for that stuff.

I haven't even used the refills it starts you with yet.

Jack Lumber is pretty great for $1. Stylish Fruit Ninja-like by the Smuggle Truck guys with a sprinkle of John K humor.
