The Joe Rogan Experience...

I think his strength lies in his ability to have such great and varied guests, and never run out of things to talk about. Basically, he's really good at his job.
Also:

Ha this had me rolling in laughter, but I just feel strange Joe and I were targeted by molestors when we were younger, which reminds me of the time he was targeted at 13 and at 8 on one of his podcasts

Unfortunately for me, When I was about 7, I wasn't as lucky as he was with the librarian saving him. But he's a fuckin' legend for being so truthful. I would love to be on one of his shows someday.

He has a ton of content too.

He's becoming one of my favorite personalities and his interviews rival those of Howard Stern.

As a Brit I've heard little of Howard Stern, but Joe Rogan is becoming an American I'd love for us to capture and claim as one of our own. He's a treasure you really need to claim for yourselves.

Love that every time bigfoot as a subject comes up he tells the same story about a gigantopithecus tooth being found in a China apothecary

I'll watch any Joe Rogan podcast, especially the ones featuring scientists, archaeology, space/astronomy, physics, psychedelia, ancient aliens, etc. Love me some Neil Tyson, Graham Hancock, Paul Stamets, Lawrence Krauss, Brian Cox, etc, etc.

Don't get me wrong, i love roe jogan, but i never understood his gigantic success.

He is not really that smart or vastly acculturated or with a gigantic vocabulary, he talks very simple and when people try to be technical he is mostly lost like the rest of us.

He is also pretty closed minded for many things.

And he says A LOT of bullshits, i still remember the rhonda rousey or mcgregor talks, he is not different from all the shills these 2 had...

Oh, and he pushed that shlaub retarded guy to be a comedian, not really a great sign of intelligence or even good tastes...

I do think Joe is pretty smart, as he seems capable of carrying on long conversations with lots of different (and often smart) individuals.
I dont see him as a comedian though. His conversations can be interesting, but I dont know if anything he's said has ever made me laugh.

Well, that also makes him relatable to a lot of people.
And I think he really asks the right questions, even with incredibly clever people like Brian Cox in the studio.

Dude is bright. He just happens to have guests at times who are far more educated. That's the point. He learns from them: people he finds interesting.
