Aw yea, got a PS4 last week just for this beauty.
See, I'm the opposite. Dark gaf hurts my eyes so I have to use the white.Much better for my eyes at night.
Also no blue.
I can't keep myself away from dat single player. Can't wait to play Left Behind too as I missed out on it last time.Show of hands... Who will be jumping into the multiplayer first?
i am.
Eh, I haven't played the main story in 13 months. I need the refresher before LB.I can't keep myself away from dat single player. Can't wait to play Left Behind too as I missed out on it last time.
I'll be going Left Behind-->Main story-->Multiplayer

I really can't wait to see what I think of it remastered.
I played MGS3 when it first came out, and didn't really like it. I played it again when Subsistence came out, and liked it a little more. I played it again when the remaster came out and it instantly became my favourite of the series and gained a place in my top ten.
What happens when an already mindbogglingly incredible game with questionable performance and IQ gets fixed?
Scary quality coming.
The art is beyond incredible, but damn this 720p resolution.
The image quality is disgusting, jaggy lines flying all over the place. It's the most distracting thing in the world. And they move...
Textures flickering all over the fucking place. It's nearly unplayable, guess I'll just have to suffer.
What save thing? Wasn't that fixed?
I'm talking about the insane aliasing and the somewhat inconsistent frame rate. Frame rate isn't nearly as much of an issue as the object shimmering/flickering.
I still remember the gist of the story (I think I last played it last October), but being a prequel, I think LB should flow nicely into the main campaign.Eh, I haven't played the main story in 13 months. I need the refresher before LB.
Twitter insiders and other people's asses.
I have no clue.Wonder how many people got the reference!
After this is all over I think we should all get #SIMFA tagged lolThere were a fair number of us occupying the other thread, so probably quite a few. #SIMFA
I would say replay the game first.I still remember the gist of the story (I think I last played it last October), but being a prequel, I think LB should flow nicely into the main campaign.
Not my game of the generation, but yeah, very high up that list. It's going to be amazing. And still named it my Game of the Year and Game of the Generation.
This Remaster is going to be ridiculous.

I never once played the MP . I linked my Facebook to it to see what happened, but I never went back.
I told myself I would with the remaster since people spoke highly of it, but when a game captivated me so much in it's SP I almost feared attempting the MP.
I'm keeping it for "Collection Purposes" even though I'll likely never touch it again.
Same reason I have 3 versions of MGS2 and MGS3

Don't click this if you haven't played the main game peoples. Potential LB spoilers, but I haven't played it/watched it and I don't consider it one.
I haven't played LB, but I think it starts during the Winter Chapter and is a flashback type of thing. If that is the case I may start it when I get to Winter.

Not happening. Closest you can get is the GameStop upgrade deal where you get the Remastered for $25 with the trade of the TLoU PS3 disc. Digital TLoU has no deal.
I thought about it, but there are a lot of people that are going to be playing through for the first time.

Can the LB players verify this? I'd start it during the winter chapter too if that's the case.

It's true. Although I wouldn't recommend 'splicing'.Can the LB players verify this? I'd start it during the winter chapter too if that's the case.
Eh, I don't think it should ruin anything. I still do remember the story decently well. It's true. Although I wouldn't recommend 'splicing'.
If you're going down that road, (and you shouldn't) then you're missing many versions of those games.
This will be my first time playing TLOU. The screenshots look amazing and I am very excited to play it. But I want to enjoy the story and not get frustrated with it so I am wondering what difficulty to choose. Normal?
Seems like not having a Director's Cut mode that splices the DLC into the story is a huge missed opportunity.
An optional thing for veterans might have been cool, but for first timers that would completely suck. The whole point of that transition would be broken.Seems like not having a Director's Cut mode that splices the DLC into the story is a huge missed opportunity.
Normal. Start with Listen Mode Off and flip it On in the settings later if you really, really have to.
I'll change my Twitter handle when I have time.
Imma bout to pop my ps4's bluray drive cherry with this game. Bought my ps4 almost a month ago and still sealed (wii u reasons lol).
Not gonna lie i dont see that much of a drastic improvement visually. Its probably because of this games art style. But subtle visual improvement dont bother me. As I havent played the dlc and i think 60fps in both sp/mp would be so good.
Those are indeed spoilers. I will allow unmarked embedded spoilers after threeish weeks. The OP will also be getting some changes from what I pictured, outlining what a spoiler is (sections). You can still post them, but you have to link to it, rather than embed it.Have you thought about allowing spoilers maybe a week after the game is released? Maybe pm a mod to change the thread title because i can already imagine tons of people posting screenshots of the intro, unless you don't count those as spoilers.
Eh...The Last of Us was paced so beautifully that I really don't know if it would benefit from throwing extra sections into it. I think it's better that it remains separate.
Excellent.

Story mode works better without Left Behind spliced in in my opinion. The wholetrain of thought was really effective."Is Joel Alive?"
Once you've already played through it it doesn't really matter though I guess.
It wasn't really supposed to be a huge improvement. Basically just a PS3 game that is sharper/clearer and running at a better framerate.

I think i'll probably never experience anything like what this game made me feel in my first playthrough... but i'm anxious to replay it and to try and recapture some of that magic for a little while...
Really happy for this, PS4 ready and waiting.
Thanks! That's exactly what I will do. I just read about "listen mode" and how it's compared to "detective mode" in Batman.Normal. Start with Listen Mode Off and flip it On in the settings later if you really, really have to.
How are the trophies for this game? Same as the ps3?
