How many years have I been waiting for this?
Ordered a physical copy for the Switch. I'm getting towards the end of Trails in the Sky SC, so I'll probably play through the Third game before diving into this - but the wait is gonna be tough.
Is this set before or after Trails in the Sky? And what are the chances of Trails in the Sky games coming to Switch?
yeah it sucks, at the same time NIS America got the license because they were willing to port the games to more platforms IIRCIt's set after. Not likely Xseed will port them to Switch. They are probably mad they lost the rights to the Trails Franchise.

I wonder if Xseed will ever lose the rights for the ones they localized which would allow them to get ported?
Can the current owners port them to Switch? It's set after. Not likely Xseed will port them to Switch. They are probably mad they lost the rights to the Trails Franchise.

This is why lawyers and contracts exist. XSEED should make a deal with NIS/Falcom so all parties profit....the games would definitely sell on Switch (as basic ports)XSEED has the rights to the English versions of Trails in the sky trilogy and Coldsteel 1 and 2. They aren't going to do Falcom or NIS any favors neither.
I'm annoyed they didn't release Zero and Ao in one set.Played for about 15 minutes. Do I want to play this now and wait 6 months for the next part? Or just wait 5 months and play so I don't have to wait very long for the next one? My dilemma right now.
I agree that is an odd decision. They could have easily fit both games on one cartridge on the Nintendo Switch or whatever medium.I'm annoyed they didn't release Zero and Ao in one set.
You really want to play these games back to back- that's my advice.
There are a character calculations for dialogues in japan script, going by them it's roughly on the same level with first CS, smaller than CS3, and especially CS4, which has by far the biggest script in the series. Is this still dialogue heavy as the Trails of Cold Steel series or less so.
Oh man you are the hero we need posting that. So many of these games and the naming is odd to know what order they go in. Last one I played mostly through was the first Trails on Steam. If I jump into Zero now is there a lot I would be missing from not playing SC and the 3rd? Really wanting to pick this up on the Switch. It's set after. Not likely Xseed will port them to Switch. They are probably mad they lost the rights to the Trails Franchise.

Yeah, it will be almost 3 years. NISA somehow went backwards from an already ridiculous two years gaps.Im just pissed we have to wait so long for Trails into Reverie here stateside.

Sounds good, thanks for the info!I would say jump into Zero. What happened in Liberl kingdom doesn't have much bearing on the crossbell city arc(Zero and Azure) or the Erobonia story arc(Trails of cold steel 1-4). The upcoming Trails into Reverie is basically an epilogue for the crossbell arc and erebonia arc.
You will miss a story of one pretty important character thoughSounds good, thanks for the info!![]()
I like the isometric graphics.Sounds good, thanks for the info!![]()
