Legends of Chima? What in the world is that?! Just bring back Fabuland guys.

Lone Ranger sets? Hmmm

"The kingdom of Chima is a magical land in which very advanced species dominate. These creatures speak and act like people. They use vehicles and machines and live in amazing castles and fortresses. They have claws, teeth, tails, and some are equipped with wings. Now they are at war with each other...
"Chima was once a pure, natural paradise, but heavily armed barbarian species have changed it and now best friends have become sworn enemies of each other. Ruthless weapons destroyed the once sacred temples. Blood-thirsty vehicles battle each other in fatal duels in the forest.

"The creatures are fiercely fighting over a powerful natural resource called Chi. which is the source of life but also unimaginable destruction.

"Only a few brave heroes in Chima understand the true nature of Chi, and that its misuse leads to the total destruction of Chima. The stories of these heroes and those who want to destroy them are known as ’The Legends of Chima'."

Lone Ranger sets can have all my monies

That's a pretty small house - probably on par or even perhaps less than the Log Cabin. Hopefully that means a larger dwelling (or two) for the 2nd half of 2013.

judging by the past one large house seems likely.
I wouldn't mind them trying something else than a private home.

Well, we only got Seaside House this year, which was decent sized. I do hope for a large Creator house soon.

What if the packs are extra floors to the current buildings. Of course, that would be really weird to just sell one floor.

BTW, where do you find all this stuff out?

I've got a half dozen or so LEGO fan sites that I aggregate, info from folks I know, or the latest rumors/info from my LEGO store manager.

Smaller things like alleyways or more interior details are more likely. Or maybe things for behind the buildings or sidewalks.

They've seen everyone's road/sidewalk setups for modulars, something along those lines would be good. Plus street furniture and trees etc

Eagle creator set is the only one jumping out at me from those new ones

Isn't the tower detachable from the rest of the palace? At least it looks that way from the box art...

Yeah, you can detach it if you want, but I feel that the set is a little naked without the tower. So I'd prefer to somehow incorporate the tower into the combined set rather than leave it out altogether.

Bone has gotten to us. But hey, lots of Death Stat love up in hur!
I'm not a big fan of playsets, and so I resigned a while ago to not getting the Death Star, primarily because I would prefer a Death Star set like the old Death Star II set which is more like the display pieces that I tend to collect. After seeing the after-market prices of the DSII, I decided to build my own Death Star for display. I'm currently about half-way done putting it together after having designed it completely on LDD. Size-wise, it's about the diameter of a 32-stud base plate. I'll post pics when I'm done. But regarding the current Death Star playset, Bone et al have me on the verge of changing my mind. Cue the "one of us, one of us" chants...

UPDATE on my Orthanc MOC: LEGO has approved my purchase of 260 pieces of that really expensive brick that was preventing me from building it! I literally saved about 70% compared to if I had simply bought these pieces via Bricklink. I paid $80 from LEGO versus potentially paying $260 through Bricklink. I'm now knee-deep in the frustrating process of Bricklinking the rest of the pieces. Joy...

Shit man, I wish I could get a Death Star II on the cheap. Thing is killer expensive though. I've thought of BL'ing it.

Also, that eagle is sexy. Do want!

The green bot is nice simply because of the large collection of lime green bricks hahaha

Sadly, that is what I was thinking about as well. Tempted to grab more Friends sets just for the brick colors.

I still want a large amount of dark green bricks to make a building with. I know the Sopwith comes with tons of dark green, but not enough for a building.

Want!

Not as good as previous Creator houses imo. The windmill build looks particularly weak.

This one's pretty awesome! Love the beaver!

Disappointed with this set tho :/

The new Friends sets are disappointing as well. Nothing like the Adventure Camper or Olivia's House. But I will grab the 3 small bags with the new pets!

New Star Wars planets are also nice.

Bought my first set of Lego in over a decade last week while visiting FAO Schwartz in New York.

I'm going to bring it to work and build it on my desk there.

God, I am loving these new sets... I love all the small Star Wars planets, I love most of the Creator sets... hell I even love the squirrel and turtle of the girly sets.

I'm actually really happy LEGO Minecraft exists. It's a great way to bring some new folk into the slippery slope of LEGO fun. ;)

Constructicons?

See? Haha as we descend deeper into the madness, sets become about color and piece type and less about final product.

Sorry for double post!

Bought and completed the B-Wing. Overall I'd recommend it for looks alone. It is overpriced (but with 10% off + double points it was still overprices, but not as much). It has it's moments in the build, but some parts get repetitive.

+Very good looking set
+Engine area and cockpit are fun to put together

-Wings are repetitive and a bit boring
-Stand is very poorly made and flimsy compared to other UCS sets I've built. Built as instructions call for, the bottom gun turret will hit the surface of whatever it's sitting on. I had to modify it so it actually holds everything up.

My 5 year old son recently got into batman legos from the lego batman games. Now I think I'm addicted to putting these things together. Gonna start my own collection. Just need a place to hide them for when women come over.

what parts are that, and what did you have to do to get them?
are they not in the regular PAB?
