You might look into some other application to do it. The iPhone app I use (Time Lapse Pro) takes photos on whatever interval you set. The nice thing is you can go through and remove certain images from the sequence at any time. At the end you create a video file and set how many FPS you'd like the video to be. I like the flexibility in seeing how the video looks at different FPS levels.

First you create a "project" or "workspace". Then you can add images to it. You can come back any time and add more images to it if you wish. Then you save it as a video once its complete. When you save to video you get to select what FPS you want to save it in.
Here are three videos I made with the application. One of them was of my dogs as I just wanted to test out the new Gorillapod and Glif mount I bought.

The speeder race is a good example of a video I went through and delete images from when it was done taking photos. There were some photos that had my hands in them so I just deleted them from the project and you never knew they where there.
It's a fun little app for building LEGO or stop motion animation. There a few different ones but here is a direct link to the one I bought and am using:

A coworker bought a different one called OSnap and I didn't like the UI or post processing it did nearly as much as Timelapse Pro.

I found another app that I haven't tried myself but it looks promising as well. It's called Frameographer and is by Studio Neat (they make the Glif iPhone mount). It's a dollar more than the Timelapse Pro. It looks like it's been updated more recently than Timelapse Pro has though. If anyone gets it let me know how well it works. The UI looks a little more intuitive than Timelapse Pro, I'm just not sure if it has all the features. Here is a link:

I just bid on an Obi-Wan minifigure on ebay to go with the UCS Starfighter that was delivered today.

Hmmm. Might get that one. I like how simple the layout and use seems to be.
And thinking of actually building a stand for my iPhone out of Lego bricks. Something with adjustable angles and I can just slide the phone in to do video.

So my Nanoblock craze is still going strong. I did what I could to reproduce the Taj Mahal Nanoblock model in LDD. This is the result.
Some of the connections that you make with Nanoblocks are impossible to model in Lego, so there are like, two major differences in the model. Also, the baseplates are 20x20, so I had to use 20~2x10 bricks. The color is also supposed to be gray and not black, but the on-screen lighting made it too hard to distinguish.
All in all, it comes out to a pretty cool microscale build if you were to do it in Lego. I'm a fan of this idea (particularly for the mega models).

I got the Nanoblock shuttle a few weeks back. Its not very stable, especially the thrusters when attached to the actual shuttle.
Weird thing is all the extra pieces you get, some you dont even use once, and ill have 3 or 4 of those. Looking at it and the extra pieces I think i can stabilize the thrusters, going to give it a shot this weekend.

Yeah, Nanoblock models are not for play - they're display models for sure. That shuttle is a fantastic model and actually reminds me a LOT of the structure of the Shuttle Expedition. I have them next to each other and it's really cool how much they resemble one another.

Picked up a shelf to put on top of my bookcase so I can display Tower Bridge out of the reach of kitties. But I just realized that I could just as easily mount a long shelf on the wall behind my television. Just mount something where I can keep adding modulars until it spans the length of the wall above the TV. I am just worried about the weight of so many models.
As long as I have enough braces under the shelves, it should be fine.

nanoblock models also translate nicely into minecraft. I built the shuttle in minecraft using my nanoblocks as a template

I was at my local Fred Meyer today and I noticed that they had a bunch of their LEGO sets on sale.
Only notable ones I saw was a $15 or so discount on the X-wing and a similar discount on the Tie Fighter.
Not bad, but I wasn't really interested in the selection mine had, plus I have that yellow car on the way. Gotta pace myself.

Just watched Conan from last night.
Simon Pegg was on and was talking about the Shaun of the Dead Cuusoo set but I he didn't really know what it was I guess. They just kept saying go to lego.com to vote for it. They did show a picture of the custom made minifigs though.
edit: looking at the cuusoo page or it now. It looks like the pic they showed of the minifigs was from the first version. they were way sloppier than the ones in the version currently on the page.

Ordered something from bricklink for the first time. It was only a minifig (series 5 dwarf) but I like the process of it. Once I buy a few things I may have to consider sorting my old legos and setting up a storefront.
Oh and why did I get into lego after all the dwarf sets are gone....dwarfs=awesomeness

Don't worry. If the sets are successful, LOTR stuff will give you lots of Dwarves. I expect many awesome figures to come from The Hobbit sets.

As promised, finally took some pics!
Check your local K-marts for clearance deals! Found AC HQ, $33.50 not tagged!! Also, got HP Hogwarts 4842 for $48.50, SW podrace $33.50, a few Ninjago, and Atlantis sets for about 65% off. Some stores have them moved to clearance sections, others not. Grab a cart, fill it, and scan lots of them at their price scanner stations. Very YMMV, visited 7 stores, few had nothing or just crappy sets on sale.

They should make these "one-time/one-place only" sets available to buy for everyone, they'd probably sell quite a few and it wouldn't dissuade people from going to store openings as they'd still get them for free/reduced on the day.
Did you decide to get the Muji papercraft set in the end? I'd love to hear what other people think of them, it's weird how little info/impressions there are.
One word of warning to anyone considering getting the Muji sets (at least in the UK): I just checked the site and the more expensive (per part) set is gone, leaving just the good value one. That in itself isn't an issue of course, but it might signal that they are nearing the end of production.
