(plus the Zombies set I posted yesterday)

Just the figs please- far too many shitty vehicles.
Haha, ya, I don't really want vehicles, I want the haunted house and sets like it. And the minifigs. Maybe I will have money yet.

But of those I'd probably get the castle, the wolfman, and maybe the dracula car, looks like an interesting build.

Please do post a pic of the actual model. Always love to see MOCs.

And as promised, here is more Lego Deadpool awfulness.

I also uploaded all the pics onto the Tumblr finally. It is my first time attempting a blog/photo sharing thing, so bear with me on it. But I promise to keep posting pics there.

This seriously made me crack up, good job on this!

As for Tumblr how does it work? Can we share photos to it at as well? Can I post my own Deadpool comic to your Tumblr?

These are mine. Instant purchases. I'm not even a huge fan of the game. But these sets just look amazing.

Are those the precursors to the x-wing and TIE fighter?

None of those star wars or monster fighter sets do anything for me. Don't like the b-wing either (generally), so don't expect to buy that, and R2D2 is poor. Which will be a relief to my wallet and let me concentrate on other sets.

Thanks ghostmind, for all the new info/pics you've been posting. Please keep it up!

I am especially looking forward to new info on the B-Wing and Haunted House.

I'm on the fence with the Monster sets, but my kids will love the fuck out of em so I'll get them all. I also like the idea of gathering the crystals from each set. They will have a great time playing with those.

That's a shame. I guess it's the luck of the draw with other peoples' MOCs. It'd be nice if they could highlight any caveats like this though - especially when they provide instructions
Actually, I take back what I said. While it is indeed one stud connection, it's far more solid than I thought, because it's a technic plate hole and a standard brick stud going into it. It's very firm and solid actually, especially if both parts are new. There are fragile segments on the model though, but I was expecting that given how complex it is. You can't just grab it at any spot and twirl it around, but that's the case with practically anything made of Lego. If you hold it by an obviously solid mid section you can move it around just fine however.

It's a truly fascinating model, the way it all comes together seems almost impossible. As in, you just cannot believe that someone could have pre-planned all of it. It's also really tricky to build at times, and you have to be very careful, like if you're making ship in the bottle, but things become much sturdier when they are fully in place. I don't think I've ever built anything remotely this complex, challenging or enjoyable to be honest, and the aspect of having to figure out the parts that have to go into it, instead of having straightforward instruction, adds the whole puzzle feeling.

Here's a few wip photos:

My wife, despite frowning in a very ladylike manner at my purchasing of Lego, just organised for the kids to get me the Battle of Hoth board game for my birthday. The mini AT-AT's and Snowspeeder's are cute as all get out, I'm pretty damn impressed with the whole set.

It's tempting to start assembling it now while they're all out of the house, but I'm supposed to be working and it's more fun with them building with me anyway.

Bought the X-Wing set and two mini-figs today. The X-Wing was a little disappointing since a majority of it was building the same thing four times (the wings) and the two mini-figs I got were the same exact two. :(

The TIE build is equally monotonous imo. The X-Wing build might be more interesting actually. They look great though.

I meant two separate mini-figs. From series 6. I got Luke and Porkins.

The X-Wing looks nice when it's finally built, but it wasn't as much fun putting together as the Millennium Falcon or the little car Creator set I got.

I just wanted to build nice star wars set that takes a little time and turns out great in the end. I wished they would re-release those mini sets for Millennuim falcon, it was the perfect size for me.

Slave 1 was a fun build, looks great, and fun to play with. I love that it is not exactly symmetrical in the little details, because the ship has been repaired and modified so many times.

Ah, gotcha.

Picked up a small Lego Batman set. Nice little build, I really like the traffic light and there are a bunch of neat pieces to use in other sets.

Even the tiny newspaper has an extremely small story.

Damn that sucks, was debating on getting this or the tie-fighter hmmmmm.

X-wing is generally considered a fantastic build. Sorry you didn't love it as much as others.

The TIE is not as fun but is one of the best looking star wars sets when complete.

Been looking at this set. Is there anyway to get the blue cape that would go with this batman minifig? Can I order it directly from Lego?

In other news I just won an eBay auction for the last Alien Conquest sets I needed. Alien Defender, Alien Tripod & Alien Mothership. All three for $71.48 shipped. Pretty good deal I think as all three total for $90 msrp.

With these, I'm done with Lego until the Spider-man & SWTOR sets later this year.

I finally built the Loki's escape set. I really need more space. Slave 1 and the Falcon is taking over my desk. Iron Man is a awesome minifig.

Ugh, so much prequel/clone wars garbage in those SW sets.

I, for one, am thankful for all the prequel garbage. It allows me to spend that money on some Monster Hunter sets, finish my in print modular collection, and save money for the UCS B-Wing at the end of the year.

Although, some of those ships look cool. Clearance cool, but not full price cool.

And the more more I look at the Monster Hunter series, the more I love it. Great mini figs, and some really fun and inspired designs to the sets.

.
But I am glad. I'm already not sure if I will buy the B-Wing. Too many other things coming up.

Dat chromish Malgus figure will probably be one I will pick up, dunno if I'll buy the Interceptor to get it though. That SWTOR artoo unit also looks like a pickup. Love that design!

Looking at the sets though, I think the Sarlac pit is the only one I'll pick up. Four all new figures, a Lego Sarlac, a Lego pseudo Pleasure Barge? Yes please! (On sale...)

Potentially you have a couple of years of dull sets before the movie rereleases get round to the OT. But then there is the possibility of three years of OT goodness.

And I think they'll stick with OT for the UCS sets.

Not familiar with Clone Wars or SWTOR, but I kinda like small ships and R2 units.

I'll probably also grab the Skiff and Jabba's Palace. Some neat minifigures there. Jabba's Palace might be a fun playset.

Planning to grab the X-Wing and Y-Wing soon, and if money permits, the Tie Fighter and Millenium Falcon.

I'm most certainly grabbing R2D2 as I don't mind the head, although I will be trying to put in some slopes and plates to see if it looks better. It also looks like a neat project to motorize. Maybe I can grab the old Droid Developer set as well and integrate that.

As for the rest, the LOTR sets aren't that great, but I'll definitely be collecting the minifigures. Will also probably be getting every Monster Fighter set except for the Ghost Train; and a lot of City vehicles are calling out my name (the LEGO truck!). Wolverine's Chopper and Loki's Escape will also be mine. Will try to get Hulk separately.

I'll definitely be picking up a couple of those SWTOR sets, not a huge fan of the game but I want a couple more Star Wars models and I reckon a couple of those will be in my price range.

I want that. Will be interested to see if it's the same blower as the Racers models and how they handle the exhaust manifolds (if at all). Nice to see more vehicles.

Edit: It isn't the same blower as the Racers models although it might be the same as the ones on Nitro Muscle (8146).

that hurse reminds me of wacky racers

in other news, I just bouth this lovely little house for on ebay ^^

Man I remember seeing that set on the shelf in Kmart discounted to clear, it was just when I'd started getting back into Lego and decided against it, regret it to this day, it's a great looking set with a ton of useful pieces for MOC modulars.

ooh, get some mindstorms, and mod R2D2 to be a line-following bot.

My wanted list for the rest of the year is really only
-Town Hall
- Quinjet
- Haunted house
