I am eyeing the camper bus, loved the sopwith camel build.
Then get the camper van, it's a great set. If the imperial flagship was still for sale I would recommend that one to everyone, but sadly it's not. The van was a great build, a lot of detail and a brilliant display piece. I liked the other well liked model (the space shuttle) a lot less to be honest. The Volkswagen actually had a UCS quality to it, the shuttle felt more like a big play piece with some display qualities (imho).

In short, with the limited sets I have to compare it with: get the Volkswagen, you won't regret it (and if you will, then I just don't like you).

That's the one I'm gonna buy next time I go to a Lego store. Looks so good, love the little touches on the inside.

It is so on.

Just got back from my Target. They had the Street Rebel cycle clearanced for $14. I grabbed one. And there are about 4 left if anyone wants one.

Putting together my Fire Brigade! Had to stop before the first book was finished for food. Can't wait to see how it looks next to my GE (and decorated with Lord of the Rings figures).

Oh wow. Thanks. Man, that thing would have came in handy when I was a kid.
You didn't have any as a kid? I seem to remember that Lego advertised their older brick seperators a lot on the back of their instruction booklets or at least somewhere in their sets about 15-10 years ago.

I still have two, even though I just recently learned why having two is useful...

I was 20-25 15-10 years ago.... so I for one didn't have any separators haha

Got Sopwith Camel and the new Mini-fig VIP set. Also ordered the Minecraft set since you get free shipping if ordered from a LEGO store.

I always seem to forget that most people are much older than me... But even though I had two of those seperators, I still used my teeth most of the time. I couldn't be bothered to actually search for those seperators, since they never seemed to be where they were supposed to.
When trying to sort out some of my bricks last year some still showed their battle scars.

Edit: the old ones by the way;

I probably had them in sets but the kid in me probably didn't care what it was. :)

So here's my trip today! My fiancee and I went out at about 10:30 am and JUST got home (9.5 hours out shopping and wandering). It was the 1 year anniversary of the Indianapolis Lego store, so they had this big thing in the middle of the mall where people were putting together little buildings and displaying them. Pretty neat!

And my little haul! I'm really starting to love Technic...

Toys R Us finally got some minifigs back in so I spent maybe ten minutes feeling out bags - my first time actually doing that. The last one of these I bought was during series 3 or 4, or whenever the surfer chick came out.

It was surprisingly easy to find the four I wanted, and I found someone else a black knight and space marine while I was at it. The rocker was by far the hardest (or I just got unlucky with it) and the programmer the easiest, as I think I stumbled across six of him in the process.

I wasn't going to get the bunny but I've seen him used in so many ways in this thread that I couldn't help myself.

Bunny suit is now third best mini fig. Behind Hulk and Deadpool.

Does anyone know if they are going to make more sets in the Harry Potter line? I'd really like a Hogsmeade and a better Hogwarts.
The Diagon Alley they did was pretty awesome, sorry I missed out on it. Can't find it at MSRP now.

Now that all the films are over it will be interesting to see if the brand has much staying power. not everything can be star wars. i'd like to see them do more HP sets down the road.

Diagon Alley was a great build, loved it. Best set in the series IMO.

had that for ever and not once did I know what it was meant for

Didn't LEGO officially say they were ending the Harry Potter line earlier this year? Or was that PotC....
According to a google search LEGO representatives have answered e-mails stating the line is ending. Haven't found anything official though. :(

Guess I should snatch up a few more HP sets...

Damnit, I missed out on that. My girlfriend and I were going to go there today but something came up.

I wasn't happy with my previous photo (it was blurry) and the photoshop job was pretty dodgy so I redid it as a promo for my CUUSOO Tumbler

Looks awesome, wetwired. Bravo!

EDIT: Supported!

Also, I just noticed the Ferrari Polybags that were recently inadvertently revealed. They'd be awesome to have as a complete set.

The F40, 458 Italia and 250 GT Berlinetta (30192, 30193, 30194) are awesome.

I would like to have them all, I know one of my brothers would too. Wonder how difficult or expensive it will be to get a full set.

Think I am going to dismiss VW Van for this time. Going to restrict myself to a $100 or less set to order in a week. Debating between mini modulars or Sopwith. Minis are nice and cheap, but the Sopwith is calling me. And seeing all these gaffers building it makes me want it. But, how long will the minis be around? I know they are new, but how long do VIP exclusive sets usually stick around?

Those are great. I wonder if they'll ever be available in Canada.

Get the T1 Camper Van. It is seriously impressive. I can't see the appeal of the mini-modulars if you already own the full sized ones but that's just me. I'll be buying a set as a present though.

Oh, the VW van will be mine eventually. Near the top of my list of wanted sets. But that extra $20 will be tough to swing while the free shipping is happening. That is the only thing holding me back this order. By end of the year, camper will be mine. Just trying to get something this next order.

Placed my order for the minis today, thanks to you and your persuasive nature. :p

Fire Brigade was the gateway for me.

Fire Brigade is the ultimate gateway drug.

And if I had not gotten those 10 mini figs the other day I would get the VW camper van. But gotta budget, and I am taking a trip at the end of the month.

I know everyone here is all about the newer sets but here are two of the newest sets I acquired...

Was really excited to get a copy of Majisto's Magical Workshop, always thought that was a pretty cool set. Undecided on the Dragon's Den but it's growing on me. I'm sure some will hate it for the liberal use of BURP/LURP but eh, I kind of like those pieces.
