The Mandalorian S3 Leaked Trailer

Excited to see the bigger scale. The bounties and misadventures are fun but its season 3, time to focus on the Mandalore plot.

Note to leaker: don’t freaking hashtag the leak, surefire way to get it nuked quickly.

Even worst verified accounts who are followed by Disney people were quote Tweeting it to complain that they didn't release it for everyone. No shit they nuked it after that.

People are stupid. I don’t even know why Disney didn’t officially release the trailer anyway. What’s the point of showing something behind closed doors and then prevent anyone from seeing it.

To give the people who spent thousands of dollars to go to their convention something to brag about.

The trailer looked good but all the cheering kind of detracted from it. Felt like watching a comedy where you know people are laughing after every little joke because the sound guy pushed a button.

Trailer looked fun. Fans trying to cheer every time they saw someone they recognize are annoying

Book of Boba Fett has mando eps at the end and undo mando s2 ending.

maybe a media showcase or investor junket and half of the folks in there were plants...hence the cheering.

Don't worry, another 10 years and there will be heaps of defenders for the sequel films. Just like there heaps of defenders for the prequel films now.

Yes, it's weird. Book of Boba Fett completely switches story at ep5 IIRC with what was clearly mando eps leftovers.

I know what you mean but to clarify: the Mando eps in Boba Fett were genuinely filmed and written for the Boba Fett production. It wasn’t stuff they couldn’t fit into season 2.

Its gonna make a rewatch in 10 years weird. “ok lets switch to these specific episodes of a different show for a little bit”.

The crowd cheering every five seconds was really irritating, but from that trailer alone it looks like they have upped the budget for season three.

I think going forward Mandalorian might be the only Star Wars show worth watching, so let's hope it's good.

Finally got to see the trailer, can’t believe they haven’t officially released this yet. What are they waiting for?

Both Andor and Willow are airing before this. Andor starts next month and is 12 episodes and then Willow starts in November for the holidays.

Ah, forgot about Andor. A 12 episode run? They’ve got a lot riding on it being good considering they’ve already greenlit a second season. Rogue One is the best movie that Disney’s out out, and I actually liked the character, so fingers crossed.

Andor is the five years leading up to Rogue One. Season 1 is a year, Season 2 is the remaining four years (3 episodes for a year) with the final scene directly linking to Rogue One like how the final scene of Rogue One directly linked to ANH.

As someone from the UK I can't stand people making noise in the cinema

Sit the fuck down and shut up!
Exactly. When I watch something, I'm there to observe. It's not audience participation.

I think it must be at least partly cultural, Americans tend to be louder in cinemas by default. I think this one is also partly because they're super fans who, by the sound of some of that, think they should make noise. They're wrong. They shouldn't.

As for the trailer itself, it looks more interesting than Obi Wan which might as well have not existed.

People cheering for the garbage characters from the new star wars sequels. 😐

Nostalgia from 2 years ago already has them drinking it up.
It's because Mando and his franchise are being treated like the Captain America of Star Wars. It's like Filoni and Favreau's favorite child aside from Clone Wars. You can tell by the fact that every other SW series hasn't been given nearly the same care and treatment.

That's why I'm worried more about Andor and not Mando S3.

My generation was educated" by the Cinemark cat to shut the fuck up in the cinema when we were kids. Time to bring back that cat on every marvel movie.

What was that city/ruin on the last shot?

The only time I've ever heard any noise in a UK cinema is

1. Idiot teenagers who think they're funny but swiftly get kicked out

2. That moment when Cap used Thor's hammer in endgame

That moment in endgame was epic though and I'll admit even I cheered but after a few seconds everyone shut up again

I can forgive those rare moments, they're up there with other involuntary reactions and that's the aim of cinema. Nothing wrong with that. But the constant unearned noise infuriates me. I once had a girl not speak to me for months because a family's phones went off for the 4th time and I leaned over and said "What the fuck's wrong with you?!"

And that's why I now go to the cinema weeks after release when it's quiet. It's basically a private viewing at that point. Perfect.

I once went to a midnight showing where everyone clapped at the end, and all I could think was "Who are they clapping for? Who is going to hear this? Is the director here?"

Watched Warcraft in a small cinema. Some bitch decided to massage a bag of sweets when opening it. A Bag of sweets.

I told her to "just fucking open it".

She did, felt bad as she was obviously young but her guardian beside her didn't blink an eye.

So shouted at a kid, I feel awful for it but her guardian should have been on the ball. Small cinema so could barely hear the film anyway.

Still liked the film, no sequel is such a shame. Frozen Throne would have been amazing.
