Looks great. The action scenes are finally getting the budget they deserve.

Still a little bummed that Grogu is back in the story already. Solo Mando has a cool Western feel to it. But to be fair Grogu is cute and brings in the female audience.

They ruined the Mando story with Book of Boba Fett. Bringing Grogu back that way completely trivialized the whole season 1 and season 2 arc. Disney found the one Star Wars story that worked and trashed it.

Anyway Season 2 was some of the best tv in years for me. It felt so much like the orig SW trilogy in tone and adventure. I'll be suprised if they top season 2 but i hope they give it a good shot!.

Luke gave him a choice between letting go of his feelings of attachment for Mando, or letting go of his aspirations to become a Jedi. Grogu chose the latter.

This is all shown in Book of Boba Fett. He did get SOME training so he will be more capable than earlier Mando seasons. But he is not a Jedi.

Honestly I’d say just watch episodes 5 and 6. 7 if you reallly want closure but its not necessary. Episodes 5 and 6 are Mando eps, not Boba Fett eps.

I mean thematically thats where its headed right? A forbidden hybrid of two doctrines that otherwise could not co-exist.

But one is a baby and one is a grown ass man. So the father-son dynamic is still more prevalent.

Yep, that's what Robert Rodriguez will do to viewers. He had the worst episodes of the show.

The best episodes were the train heist, the stealth mission, and the two Mando episodes, and I think RR maybe only touched one of those best episodes, which explains a lot. Hopefully they only put him on kid-only projects for SW in the future.

Season 3 Mandalorian already began with the episodes in Boba Fett. Unfortunately. I wish they would have taken a bit longer break from Baby Yoda so that it would have had a bigger emotional impact when Mando reunited with him.

Or you could watch episode 5-7 of Boba Fett, they are decent episodes involving Mando. Episode 5-6 are Mando episodes.
