Well there it is. I knew it was a timed exclusive, just figured it would of been longer than a year.

It has its moments. The game has some truly impressive/jaw dropping environments and lighting (can't say the same about the character animation though). Intriguing story, good voice acting and great music. The gameplay itself is a letdown, mostly consists of simple puzzles and running away from a Mr. X like stalker figure. Not worth the $70 it'll probably cost on PS5 IMO.

My partner really enjoyed this on xbox, it's quite a slow, story driven game, and it looks visually stunning at times.

The medium dev came out like a bandit, phil wrote the check and they made guaranteed funds + whatever sales on a new IP title that could go either way, in terms of building a franchise, could it come to PS + ? sure i guess but i doubt sony would pay to have it there especially now. These kinda GP deals are the ones id expect or smaller even (see xbox E3 showcase) with big triple A few far and in between. Its gona cost mega bucks to get big hitters on sub services as it should.. because why devalue your product on an established franchise? You dont need an external sub service to boost awareness or generate money for those titles. Also why put games on a sub service when alot of these publishers could just create their own service like EA! that way everyone is subscribed to everybody at any given moment. Capcom, Namco, Take two, etc. sub service for everyone! you get a sub! you get a sub! and you!

Er we already know Stalker 2 is coming to PS5 from the Epic court case. In fact i'm pretty sure before the gameplay footage it said 'Console laucnh xclusive'.
