Just like Kena right?
Now DF needs to do the lord's work. Bring the comparison on!
No you bakas, it's not looking better on the PS5, not yet.
It should be obvious by the first tweet. Look at the ground, the ground on the PS5 is much simpler missing a lot of details, and you can see the background better because there's almost no DoF there.
It says that it's in development, so wait and don't make a fuss yet.

The Medium is finally coming to PS5. Here's a look at this psychological horror game that lets you navigate between the real world and a dark spirit realm.
I saw the same comparison. Can't argue with the conclusion, especially since it is obvious in the video. PS5 does benefit from higher resolution (29% or so?) and anisotropic filtering though. Also, it appears performance is worse on PS5 as well.Just saw a comparison that says PS5 version has Ray tracing removed? Any news on this?

It's basically a direct reversal of the Little Nightmares II situation, which is odd as they both run on Unreal 4.
Framerate stutters and no RT… bleahJust saw a comparison that says PS5 version has Ray tracing removed? Any news on this?
"
Whereas the Xbox Series X version partly used the rendering technique for ambient occlusion and reflections, this isn't the case on PS5
In addition, the game doesn't appear to run as stable as it does on Xbox Series X with more stuttering occurring on PS5 at 30FPS."
I checked the early same trailer reveal on pc and Xbox. Raytracing was absent there too. Don't know what's wrong though. Doubt it's just a ps5 issue considered their other game has it.Just saw a comparison that says PS5 version has Ray tracing removed? Any news on this?

The game is out on PS5, the comparison for RT was not done with a video, but the released version of both games.I love it when videos are used for comparisons. Here's a screenshot I took from the same video above. Maybe I should go on twitter and post about how blurry and low res the PS5 is compared to the Series X

Obviously this is a load of poop as depending on when you pause it, each console will look variably better / worse than the other. Even if the synchronisation is off by 10ms, what's displayed between the two images can change drastically. Still, if it gets console warriors up in the morning I suppose...

Never mind. Riky is always the same irremediable buffoon when talk about ps5. His fanboysm is something else.
Since you have me on "ignore" you claim then why you keep quoting me?
You're wrong again of course as always, I say clearly a "comparison" I just watched not the launch trailer, try reading.
Zathalus I think what I'm saying is anyone can stop a game at a specific point which is only milliseconds off and it will look terrible compared. It's very difficult to do an exact like for like in games as what is rendered to screen changes constantly. Motion blur and the intensity of lights change frame by frame (as shown in the video above). I'm not saying comparisons can't be done and there are indeed instances where one version may look worse than the other. I just remain unconvinced in this instance.
The game releases tomorrow on PS5The game is out on PS5, the comparison for RT was not done with a video, but the released version of both games.
I'd say let's wait for a day one patch as it seems like a rather rough port no?
Using a banned source as a reference, nice.Just saw a comparison that says PS5 version has Ray tracing removed? Any news on this?

The load times don't make much sense, it's not a PS4 game. Those load times cant be right are they?![]()

The timed Xbox Series and PC exclusive is launching on PlayStation 5 tomorrow, and courtesy of YouTube channel "ElAnalistaDeBits".
DF:
In terms of the ray tracing support, The Medium features RT reflections - but only in certain locations and only on Xbox Series X and PC
Banned source.
(Also, 3:44, missing from Series X too, RT in the game is inconsistent)

In an interview with Gamespot, Wojciech Piejko, lead game designer of The Medium, revealed that the game has a unique feature that wasn't possible on current-gen. The feature, which has been patented by the developer, is something that has been on their minds since 2012, however, it could only be brought to action by the technological advancements in the next generation. While the developers mentioned the feature is a "super-secret", the patent available on Freepatentsonline shows what it is all about. The patent, entitled "Method of simultaneous playing in single-player video games," is about a method that would allow players to simultaneously control one character with several avatars in different universes.

The Medium PS5 vs XSX Comparison Shows Increased Resolution and Anisotropic Filtering on Sony’s Console While it Lacks Ray Tracing
The first The Medium PS5 vs Xbox Series X|S and PC comparison has been released, and the results are rather interesting.wccftech.com
They are using the banned source. That isn't a banned source.
HahahaThat isn't a banned source.
Hahaha
Dude, they're just quoting the banned source and you know it.
Something I don't agree with, by the way, since I like El Analista de Bits' work and I don't think he deserves to be banned at all (in fact I think GAF is the only site he's banned as a source) , but come on.
Can't wait to hear how great the game is now.
That's why I didn't make a thread or use any direct screen grabs or quotes. It's another parties view on it.
There will be comparisons from more reliable parties soon enough![]()
Mmm. He already "tricked" his videos in the past. Said that seems raytracing was removed on ps5. Don't know if it's a bug or intentionally but their previous game had it (and not on series X)so it's quite... weirdI very much doubt there'll be any substantial differences from what El Analista de Bits has already showed. As I said I don't think his comparisons are that inaccurate at all. There can be small differences because of the dynamic resolution scaling if they pixel count different shots, but aren't there small differences between DF and VGTech too? And they never got banned anywhere.
And by the way, Rafael (that's his name) is a very nice and honest guy.
People are still using el analista de bits as a reliable source despite his very 'illustrious' resume i see, excellent...
