KORN's upcoming greatest hits collection will include two new cover tunes, according to Launch Radio Networks. The group's versions of PINK FLOYD's "Another Brick In The Wall" and NINE INCH NAILS' "Head Like A Hole" will be featured on the album, which is due out this fall. By coincidence, California goth-punk act A.F.I. has also recorded a new version of the latter tune, although they landed a guest appearance from NIN frontman Trent Reznor. A.F.I.'s take on the song is slated to appear on a yet-to-be-named video game. KORN's greatest his package may also include the band's recently recorded collaboration with rapper Lil Jon.

Oh, they're going to fuck up Head Like a Hole. And WTF is KoRn doing covering Pink Floyd?

Korn covering Pink Floyd? Uhh...what? I can already hear that guy's damn shaky/whiny voice singing "we don't need no education" while some porn-like beat goes in the background, or some heavy guitars chime in. NO.

On korn's cover of Ice Cube's "Wicked," I think they intentionally scream through some of the lyrics that may be inappropriate for a white person to say. Ice Cube's version goes like this:

We'll get Darryl Gates, but is Willie Williams
Down with the pilgrims?
Just a super slave,
We'll have to break his ass up like Super Dave.

Darryl Gates was the white LAPD chief during the King fiasco, and Willie Williams was the black mayor of LA at that time. The whole song is not about killing public officials, but pretty much every cut on that CD--"The Predator"--has some reference to killing the cops that beat King or LA officials.

I posited this question many years ago on the korn usenet group, but I was targeted for insults and nobody addressed the question.

NIN doesn't need a greatest hits. Just get AATCHB.
I got it. The limited edition version with the fancy slipcase and bonus disc, no less. Still not quite as good as some of the album versions. The Pretty Hate Machine recordings are classic.

goddamit, Griese!
OH MY FUCKING GOD. THIS IS WORSE THAN THE HOLOCAUST.

Jesus fucking christ. This is the worst thing I've ever heard. When Jon yells it's just...please, someone kill me.

This sounds even worse than Avril's cover of Chop Suey!

anyone else care to hear this desecration?

Most of the songs on there are better live than recorded. You are simply wrong.

I wish Jonathon Davis would go back to singing about how his daddy raped him, instead of doing rape of his own on a timeless classic.

Seriously, that song just ruined the rest of my day.

I don't get the Korn hate. You don't like their music...so they're sad shitheads? And let's all laugh at the guy for getting raped as a child.

Fantomas opened for the two shows Korn played in Iceland. You know, I know money and publicity are good things, but art and shit don't mix.

I can't say this phases me. KoRn stopped being relevent years ago. Think what you will about them now, but they did push a lot of things along years and years back. I still like their first two releases... seemed like it just got whinier after that.

Worse bands have covered NIN and Pink Floyd.
