The new Diablo 4 Berserk crossover skins will cost you up to $150

New Diablo 4 Berserk cosmetics arrive in the Blizzard RPG, but the premium options have a total price tag that could set you back $150.

The Diablo 4 Berserk crossover has arrived in Sanctuary, but it proves a rather expensive outing if you're looking to dress up for the occasion. While the legendary manga series created by Kentaro Miura has long inspired many games, including Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Final Fantasy, and Dragon's Dogma, it's now making an official appearance in Blizzard's ongoing ARPG. There are certainly some impressive cosmetics on offer here, but the price tag is leaving a sour taste in the mouth.

The Diablo 4 x Berserk collaboration includes The Berserker armor for Barbarians, The Skull Knight set for Necromancers, and two gear options for Rogues (The Hawk of Light and The Struggler). Sorry to anyone who favors the other Diablo 4 classes; you're out of luck this time around. The four class armor sets come in at 2,800 Platinum each, as does the new pet The Schnoz, while the Warhorse of the Hawk bundle is 2,500.

That totals to 16,500 Platinum, all in all. While Blizzard offers several bundles in the RPG's premium shop, no combination of them manages to get you exactly to that amount, meaning that your best bet if you want everything is to buy the $149.99 / £125.99 bundle for 18,500 Platinum, leaving you with 2,000 to spare. While you can earn some Platinum by playing the game, the new Season 8 Reliquaries – Blizzard's new battle pass replacement – offer just 200, less than previous installments, and that's presuming you don't spend any of it to unlock the premium tiers.

I got an E-mail from Blizzard for this crossover and was super hyped, until I scrolled to the part where all the good stuff is in the store.

Meh, for the type of people that drop thousands upon thousands of dollars on the Prime1 Berserk statues, this is nothing. It's more for the whales than the common folk.

As much as it sucks, I'm not surprised.

This is heresy. Anyone willing to put down that much money on these skins should just buy deluxe volumes of the manga instead.
I think it's fair to say that the people that will likely dip their toe to a degree already own them, lol.

They're charging 25 euros for a "nose" minion. It's a minion shaped like a nose. It costs 25 euros!

A single skin costs the price of a game. Maybe I could let it slide on a free to play release, but a full priced game with a paid expansion? I have no idea what they've been smoking at Blizzard.

Nothing. There are idiots who will buy it and Blizzard knows this just like the idiots buying thousands of dollars for a ship in Scamshit Citizen. Best to just focus on the small good side of gaming nowadays.

If you buy this you're a cuck, your spouse doesn't respect you, your dog thinks he's the alpha, your kids see you as an eventual inheritance, and your parents don't show people your pictures.

The day after Kentaro Miura's death date, no less.

Disgusting.
It's interesting. Because I've seen people think of it as gross, and I've seen others talking about it as if it feels like an homage to him and the IP. All you can hope is those in charge of the IP are doing things that he would've been happy with. I mean, he was excited about the 2016 series (which looked ROUGH IMO), so I wouldn't be surprised if he would've been excited about this too. It's impossible to know for sure, especially regarding the pricing.

It's just a shame that pricing has reached the levels it has across the board. It's just absolute greed.

I mean, you're gonna be saying that to a LOT of people. It's why stuff like this happens, it's why it's priced the way it is, etc.

Blizzard was always super greedy, but it's sad to see the same thing from people who own Berserk IP and agreed to this.

Sure a small group of whales will buy everything, but most people will end up pissed when they see how much even a single item can cost.

I get it would be higher cost since a cut goes to licensing etc… but god damn man lol.

Let's just allow the Lies of P devs or fromsoft to make a proper berserk game instead of we are going to shell out the IP now that Miura is dead.

I mean, honestly, I'd like to think that at some point we WILL get an amazing Berserk game. Especially since Miura supervised Gut's Rage and Band of the Hawk to a degree. I wouldn't be surprised if he did the same for Millenium Falcon Arc on PS2 that didn't come stateside as well.

At least that's a dream of mine. A Berserk souls-like would be a dream come true.

I honestly think I'd rather the manga finish before that happens though, lol.

I'd rather not have either of these companies make a Berserk game. From already has ripped off nearly everything from Berserk as it is.

I just got the Berserker armor, didn't cost me $150.
Well, you're doing it wrong then. You are supposed to buy everything and then complain that you had to buy everything.

$25 or whatever for a skin is expensive of course, but whenever a journalist can exaggerate for clickbait they will do so.

These announcements arent for you and I. They are for the whales who will gladly eat this up. If you really want it, cant you do a skin swap editing the PC files, on PC of course?

Draugsie did you use the article tags for the snippet and the quote for the article? You lunatic. You're less sane than charging $150 for shitty crossover skins
