Is this helmet actually going to be in the game? I always liked its design.

I still can't believe some people are considering wearing that huge golden light bulb for a helmet. Talk about a combat disadvantage.

? I don't think that's necessarily a combat disadvantage. Every helmet has a blaring gold reflection on its front. In addition, pretty much all of them are visible from the side. At least, that's what seems to be consistent from screen shots.

Personally, I would only find it as a disadvantage if the results were similar to Halo 2's elite. (Hitbox difference was pretty drastic.) But I honestly doubt that will be the case.

:lol

You're talking about the EVA permutation, right? I've always thought it looked rather ridiculous. My favorite permutation BY FAR is the Elite variation used by the third player in co-op, on the far right here:

As far as SPARTANs go, I like the classic Mark V model. =]

:lol Yeah, I like the Chief and Player 3 models. I wonder if you can look like Arby in multiplayer?

CQB for me. I want to unlock that bitch as fast as I can and put purple as the main color, and yellow as the secondary color with a cross as the emblem.

I really, really want to know what the "buttery nipple incident" is.

Unfortunately... or fortunately... depending on how you look at it.. I was part of the buttery nipple incident.

I'm just joking, but the slow news (the diagram site leaked a whole 12 hours ago!!) is making us a little... manic.

Why did they ever take him off project lead to begin with? I hear he was practically solely responsible for the perfection that was Halo's grenade physics.

He's not. I believe he's the project lead for Halo 3 as well. He just chooses to lay low and chooses to seperate himself from the media. I'm sure there are many (or even every) gaming sites/blogs/magazines that would love to interview him, but it's just not something he wants to do.

Last I heard, he was headed to Remedy to work on Alan Wake once his part in Halo 3 was finished. Though, I could be wrong.

Hmm, I see. But I know I heard something to the effect that he had a much less active role in development after Halo. I assumed that meant he was no longer project lead.

There's nothing correct about your post other than this: "I'm sure there are many (or even every) gaming sites/blogs/magazines that would love to interview him, but it's just not something he wants to do."

lol I thought that Alan Wake biz seemed a bit off.

Uh, slightly late to the party, but WOW at the Believe advert - it's so weird, but at the same time so fucking cool, did not expect the ending. The music aswell, it's probably been said, but is this martymusic or not?

Doesn't make sense, though. Back in the Halo days he was literally the face of the game. Did he have a nervous breakdown or something? Or maybe he's hanging out in a trailer somewhere with J Allard.

That kid totally "Bettenhausen'd it" with his last post.

He receives the "Bettenhausen seal of journalistic integrity".

It better not be like get to level 50 in a playlist!
Well, actually, that would be pretty cool 'cause then we could actually see who the PROs are.

Saw a funny picture while thinking about Halo 3 and hoping to not be spoiled.......and this was born.
that pic is not so funny, because that donkey must have several injuries and be in pain.
its not like he climbed a ladder to get down there.
so u got2bekidding

So is the whole "Believe" slogan Luke Smith's doing? Is he just stamping his signature most loved phrase everywhere just to have "left his mark" on what will be the biggest single videogame event in history and for the far forseeable future?
