I have now joined the ranks of frustrated level 44 Force Colonels, only to lose a game and go back down to 43. Sadface.

I know It's been said many times before, but the spawns on new Narrows are completely broken. The old Narrows wasn't much fun for the losing team, but the new one is just a clusterfuck. I hope this is addressed in the August update.

The only things I want fixed in the patch are unwanted social party splitting and the reload glitch. Wouldn't it be awesome if we got some new gametypes or custom game options, though? I'd like the ability to make Three Plots, for example.

That recon site is really... sad. In 15 years, nobody who has ever visited that site will be playing the game or using recon armor. The lust for this piece of armor is strange and tells me bad things about future generations, to say the least.

I do admit, though, it made me thump my chest a bit to see so many GAFers there. It also reminded me... wtf happened to NJ x Falk0r?

Have you ever reloaded rockets (or sniper, or any weapon, but mostly rockets), then tried to shoot and have the reload animation start all over again? If not, you're really lucky. It's killed me a bunch of times.

I don't really know the exact details of when it happens, but I think it's something to do with either cancelling the reload animation (greande toss, weapon switch, melee) or hitting the reload button when the automatic reload animation has just started. It's the only game-engine glitch of its type that I know of.

We were completely stunned xl HellFire lx got more kills than our entire team.

So we took a look at his game history and file share:

All the unreliable custom games time length are 0:00:00 and everyone but one player DNF's. Now, I'm assuming the player that finishes the map is host? Notice that Arc Blu is also in the games (another person on the opposite team).


Both Arc Blu and xl HellFire lx have the 'Host check' variant and map in their fileshare. Then I found this thread:

It seems like Bungie has thwarted the host manipulation in match-making. Many users in these threads have been complaining about getting booted from xbl when trying it. But it may still work in custom games...

They don't even have to add any new playlists IMO, just add some variety to the current ones. It makes no sense that we can't play a 1 Flag CTF or Assault game on Last Resort BTB for example.

Also as a side note: I was browsing Firefox add-ons and came across Video Downlaod Helper.

I just tested it out on Gamevee and its so simple to use its ridiculous.

Only reason I'm mentioning it is that some of the videos are MP4 and some are .flv. The MP4 ones dont download when using the forgehub workaround here

We we're beaten mercilessly by the one man army that was Hellfire on the enemey team. A team of 4 defeated by a team of 3. But it was really all Hellfire.

But as the Neogaf motto states 'Believe' I Believe we we're cheated. Our opponent forced host and was more then likely equiped with one of these:

I thought to take photos/videos of the connection which is not monitored during a saved film, but too late did I think of this. On the last match 30 seconds from ending.

To say this man was nearly unkillable would be an understatement. I don't recall a time I ever killed him.

When host manipulates the connection my ISP reacts horribly giving me yellow and red for extended amounts of time. Thank you Bellsouth

Here's a cool banshee glitch(?) I filmed. Timan hijacks a banshee, flys it into a wall and loses half of it (causing it to become unable to fly) and it skids across the floor until blowing up on a trip mine :lol

I think one of their recording setups has some bad sound compression they need to fix, now and again a video will come out with such low quality audio.
