I've seen bits and pieces of all the Chucky movies except the last one. I thought they were all half-serious grossouts.

But the first one came on cable and in the right mind frame it's kinda suspenseful, even scary. That car scene actually had me clinging to the seat.

Watched Childs Play a few months back, still holds up to be a classic.

2 was ok, 3 aweful, Bride of Chucky was excellent.

Child's Play is laughable, cheesy horror schlock. Anyone that deems it a classic should be taken out back and raped. And shot. And raped again. Then cut into little pieces. And peed on. And lit on fire. And peed on again. Then put into a bag and tossed into a tar pit.

Childs play is both hilarious and scary. That is if you have ever had a fear of dolls in your life....which i have.

The original childs play was nice. The rest (2 was ok) blows unless you like Horror-Comedy. Most Chucky movies are outrageously funny.
