Who owns the Riddick game IP right now?

Damn shame it isn't available on modern consoles, it's not even BC on Xbox :(

Just checked and yeah, looks to be gone. It would be pretty cool if someone could get the license and remastered the games for current gen consoles (and PC of course).
I still have a physical copy on Xbox and PS3 but I don't keep those hooked up often or at all. Bummer.

Would be cool if Nightdive did something with Riddick just to refine it and bring it back to everyone. That multiplayer was surprisingly fun too.
Riddick IP would probably be too expensive to renew the license. But who knows, maybe Vin Diesel could help with that, we all know that he likes videogames.

Indiana Jones team is basically ex Starbreeze, including Magnus. Can't wait to see what they do next. Sequel or other.
Yeah, I know Machines Games are Ex Starbreeze, I thought Magnus stepped down after Machines Games 1st game. That man was a programming genius, like I said loved his tech demo's on the Amiga and was behind Into the Shadows which looked awesome at the time.

Riddick on the Xbox looked better than most PC games

I have Riddick Athena in retail PC box and glad I do, since it contains the original game too in remastered form.

What annoys me is that Darkness is still not on PC or any modern platform. Console exclusivity prison is so fucking stupid.

I also remember playing Enclave back in the day and being impressed by its pixel shaded water. One of the first games using that tech.

Syndicate was pretty good shooter with weak story. And Wolfenstein games...I enjoyed them all, even Youngblood had pretty good level design, even if the main duo kinda sucked.

Indiana Jones was great for the most part. Strong 8/10.

...huh, aside from Darkness I actually played all mainline SB/MG games.

Enclave - got a remaster
Knights of the Temple: some game
Riddick - good. Got shafted in not being backwards compatible on X360 or X1. Not available for sale.
The Darkness - no PC port. Needs a remaster.
Syndicate - crippled by EA. Unfortunate.
Brothers - the first Fares co-op game. Cool

MachineGames
Have only put out bangers. Including Youngbloos. I don't want to hear about it.

It's included in Dark Athena for Xbox 360, I imagine they had this planned and the reason the original was not made backwards compatible for 360.

Original release of Escape from Butcher Bay is incredible. Only thing that sucks is really spotty controller support for the PC version.

They really messed with the look of the game in the Dark Athena release.

Multi quoting hates me. I need to figure this out.

I hated their Syndicate game. It was unplayable for me. Their bloom in that game was just obnoxious. The Darkness was fantastic as was Butchers Bay. Syndicate though? Fucking trash!

Watched this the other day. Didn't realise Enclave was by the same studio that did Riddick and The Darkness. Brings back memories. I have the original Xbox version of Riddick and put it in my Series X out of curiosity. As others have pointed out, not compatible. Shame. Might just hook up the og Xbox to play it a bit and relive those awesome early 2000s days
