This is one of those movies that while I enjoyed it I have no desire to ever see it again. That's not hate I just can't see myself sitting at home lounging saying... hmm I'd like to see that Passion of the Christ again... I need to see Jesus getting his ass kicked up and down the street to put me in the mood....

I agree with you guys. I loved the film. It punched me square in the nads, and I enjoyed it. But I never want to feel that again.

Besides, its a barebones release. Where are the jesus bloopers? Come on.

Nice musical score, cool shots, but aside from that I see no reason to ever watching it again, much less buying the DVD.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!? This might be my favorite Cronenberg movie. Damn. I wish I had a DVD player.

What? You know you can probably buy a cheap-o dvd player for less than the Videodrome DVD...

Well, it's not that I don't own a DVD player. It's just that it's across the country right now, along with all my videogame shtuff.

You could turn water into wine and God would still turn up his nose.

You know what I mean!

I work at a movie theatre and it really disgusted me when guys would come out of The Passion acting like they had cried so girls would talk to them. Not to mention the people who saw the film and acted like it was some life altering religious experience. Get a life.

So who's seeing Paparazzi?

I am. I just love to watch MYTHOLOGY. Finally a well done movie based on xtian mythology. Wanted to watch this work of mythology when it was in theatres but couldn't because of school.

Your post needs the word "mythology" worked into it at least three more times. Try again.

If you've ever been to a butcher shop and watched a sweaty mexican dude named "Jesus"

(pronounced 'Hey-Seuse') beating and tenderizing a big piece of sirloin then you've seen

this movie...

...I hope I didn't spoil the ending for anyone.

It's out today in the UK too and though I've considered buying it (I haven't seen it yet) I don't think I will - just doesn't seem like something that'll be good for more than one viewing. I'll pick up Shaun of the Dead next week instead, I think. :)

Buy, no. I've already read the book, and wasn't impressed, but maybe I'll rent it somewhere down the line.

The book is better than the movie anyway.... although a bit harder to read...
