I've cooked single things, like soup, or rice before... but I've never mixed multiple things together for a meal (outside of microwaving) until now!

Behold...

Basmati rice, organic broccoli, organic vegetarian beans, and organic low sodium tamari sauce.

Cost... $5.

Yay!

:lol :lol :lol

I'll never understand the hate for seafood. Though I do agree that with fish it's either really good or really bad. My pops is big into fish and it has sort of rubbed off on me.

What's in it?

Its saffron rice cooked with various types of seefood as well as, in some variations, chicken. I see conch, octopus, mussels (or possibly clams) , and chicken, as well as peas in the pod in the picture.

It usually has shrimp and I've had some with lobster and fish too. My family used to make it once per year on special occasions, but lately. I've only had it on trips to Puerto Rico when we go to nice restaurants.

Paella is the prince of Spanish cuisine.

You don't win friends with salad.
Ironically, salad, or more specifically the strawberry vinaigrette i made last week for my date, got me laid. And yeah, i know it was a Simpson's quote. :)

Good deal on your meal goodcow. Looks good, and i'm getting really hungry looking at it. :) But why low sodium tamari?

Offtopic, i just woke up from this crazy dream about smoking weed, these amazing chocolate chip cookies, and everybody feeling good, and at the end this red-headed Anne Hooper came in and killed the scene.

Why not low sodium tamari?

And are you sure you weren't smoking weed before that dream?

20.

I've always used the microwave before.

Okay, just wondering. My wife had a roommate in college who didn't know how to make a grilled cheese sandwich ("How do I cook it?"), which was rather sad.

Sorta like that.

NO WAY. Chicked Buryani is better. And where the hell is the meat? I mean I have meat on top of the chicken buryani.

Cooking is great fun. Especially when you get to the point where you just add stuff to your liking, and experimenting. Best when you're on your own, though...especially me...I love most foods anyway, but some of the horrendous things I've made would probably make others retch. My main problem is that I normally make too much... not enough to save for another meal, but too much for one. So I end up eating too much, or throwing away good food.

Anyway, you rmeal would tast nicer with chopsticks.

What the fuck is an organic vegetable ?

Is it perhaps something that has grown in the ground, as opposed to say, out of my butt ?

I ate sweetcorn tonight, and it was good. It was frozen, from a bag, and lo and motherfucken behold, it came from the earth to which I shall return.

I don't need to call it organic to feel healthy.

It means no pesticides were used, just natural animal shit.

YMMV

In other words, it's shitty overpriced food.

Seriously tho, you call it what you want, but that just looks like baked beans and packet brocolli to me. At least there's rice in there.

The original picture looks like a frozen lean cuisine broccoli and rice and a can of baked beans. hmmm..and it would be about 5 bucks.
