I got bored and I have this terrible, awful habit of creating lists when that happens. What you see here is a result of that. Now, this list is obviously incomplete and definitely won't be 100% correct, as I don't work for anyone in the industry and have zero connections to people who do. If anyone can think of any major games that might also make an appearance that I missed, along with any relevant reasoning as to why said game might show up, I'll edit these posts and add to it. Some of these games obviously won't be there, but for completion's sake I figured most of them were worth mentioning. And on the flipside, obviously, if there are any "surprises", I wouldn't be able to list them, so don't get too concerned if your favorite company's list looks a little light.
Publisher: Microsoft
343 Studios
Halo 2 Anniversary: The game rumored to be released in lieu of Halo 5 at the end of the year. I couldn't find any concrete information that this game existed, only leaks from insiders and rumors/hints. Still, if it's a real thing, there's literally no better place to announce it than E3.
Halo 5: On the flipside, if Halo 2 Anniversary IS a thing, I wouldn't expect to see too much of the continued, new adventures of Master Chief. It's certainly possible though--Microsoft worked their asses of at the last E3 to show a ton of games, and since they need to win over gamers I could see there being a Halo 1-2 punch during their presentation.
Lionhead
Fable Legends: Operating off Epic's UE4 engine, Lionhead's co-op RPG has already made several appearances on gaming websites and had a decent-sized update on their blog not too long ago. It may not be the biggest game at Microsoft's presentation, but it'd be odd if we didn't see it there.
Black Tusk Studios
Gears of War: Supposedly this has been in the works a while, but even still the timeline just isn't in favor of any Gears' fan. The last game just came out sometime last year? Even if it changed hands not longer after and they started work immediately (highly unlikely) it's probably less than a year's worth of dev. time. I'd think this wouldn't be near a release until late 2015, maybe early 2016 so I doubt work is far enough to get more than a cinematic teaser trailer.
Capybara Games
Below: The top-down roguelike adventure game focused on a tiny adventurer exploring and surviving on a mysterious island, Below hasn't really been seen outside of a trailer released last year, but it's still scheduled to release later this year, so an E3 appearance is likely.

D4: D4, or Dark Dreams Don't Die, is probably one of the Xbox One's quirkiest games...and also one of the quieter ones in terms of information. The only thing I could find was that currently its creator is trying to get the game to be perfectly compatible with Kinect (such that you can finish it with that alone). Pretty neat, but I can't imagine that's helping to meet the release date. Still, it's another game you can add to the pile that will probably make a re-appearance if only to boost the total number of games Microsoft talks about at the show.
Insomniac Games
Sunset Overdrive: Insomniac's open-world, acrobatic/parkour shooter hasn't been heard from in a while, but they showed the game off a couple weeks ago, and it's scheduled for a Fall 2014 release. From what their Twitter's mentioned we'll probably see the game before E3, but Microsoft's presentation seems like a good a place as any to announce an actual release date. (Also, for those curious, yes there's a full campaign.
Team Dakota
Project Spark: Microsoft's create-your-own world experience that allows users to create and share their own content. Project Spark had a beta not too long ago. Expect a final appearance at this year's E3 before the game releases later this year.
Remedy Entertainment
Quantum Break: I'm not quite sure how Remedy's project is going to work, but since they've been silent on its existence since December's VGX, I can tell you two things: The first is that it's almost a lock to appear at E3. The second is that given it's unique nature as a transmedia project, you're also going to have to hear about its TV show. Enjoy.
Playground Studios, Turn 10 Studios
Forza Horizon 2: Just a rumor at this point. But it's a rumor people feel fairly comfortable with, so who knows?
That's pretty much all I could find from Microsoft. I'll be the first one to admit I'm not a big Xbox guy though, so there's a good chance I missed one or three.
Publisher: Activision
Sledgehammer Games
Call of Duty 2014: I believe this whole "actual in-game characters" thing about as much as I believe that this time the majority of people will actually play the campaign mode instead of just jumping into multiplayer. (That is to say, not at all.) Sledgehammer's CoD has stayed under wraps so far, but I'm betting on a partial reveal (name, premise, new gimmicks?) soon with a full blow-out to follow at E3.

Toys for Bob
Skylanders: Trap Team: Trap Team was recently announced and is scheduled for an October 5th release, and given that it's a fairly successful franchise I'm going to guess it'll find its way onto the main stage at some point. The new gimmick with this one (if you were unaware) is that you capture villains in the game and then use them later to fight for you.
Bungie
Destiny: Bungie's magnum opus. It'll be out this Fall, so it'll probably be a big part of Sony's presentation/
One of the many things I learned with this list is that Activision pretty much exists only to create Call of Duty and Skylanders now. (And apparently the occasional licensed property title.) Given the profits these games turn, they aren't doing bad for themselves, but it's kind of weird to have so many studios but only 3 games a year. (Oh, and Destiny.)
Publisher: Epic Games
Fortnite: Epic's F2P sandbox game will probably pop up again. The game is scheduled for this year, they're one of the publishers that are supposed to be at E3, so with only six months left in 2014 at that point, expect a trailer with a release date if nothing else.
Epic's Secret Project: What you won't see from Epic Games is whatever unannounced game they've been working on. Recently confirmed to exist, it's in pre-production, so unless you're looking forward to seeing a bunch of concept art, you can cross this off your list until next year.
Publisher: Arc System Works
Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-: I know, I know--if this made it into an actual presentation I'd be shocked too. But Arc System Works is going to appear at E3, so there's a good chance they'll have some build of this on the floor since this is another game that's supposed to come out this year. Hopefully we'll get to see some impressions and possibly even some game play of one of the console versions (PS3 or PS4).
Publisher: Konami
Kojima Productions
Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain:: It's been roughly a year since we saw it last, and if it's going to come out between this E3 and the next, I think it should probably make an appearance. Plus, it's Konami's most popular franchise--probably the only thing gaming wise they're still consistent with.
Not-MGS: Worth mentioning is that Konami is budgeted to release seven titles in 2015. One of those is obviously Phantom Pain. The second is Pro Evolution Soccer. The third is most likely Pro Baseball Spirits. Now, it would be a mistake to expect the remaining four to be big, AAA-type releases...but I'd be surprised if at least one of them wasn't a major retail game.
Publisher: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment
CD Projekt RED
The Witcher 3: We haven't seen a new trailer from this since those few seconds the VGX gave us. E3 is as good a place as any to re-debut the most anticipated RPG without the words "Final Fantasy" in the title. Hopefully with a new trailer.
Cyberpunk 2077: I know a lot of people are under the impression that this game got placed on the backburner due to The Witcher 3 delay, but that's not true. With that in mind, it's very possible that CD Projekt will have two games to show us this E3.
WB Montreal
Suicide Squad: Okay, we know there's a Suicide Squad game in development. And supposedly this studio exists to turn DC properties into games. And then there's the ending of
. All signs point to a Suicide Squad game in the near future, and the most logical people to make it are WB Montreal. But will we see it at E3? Well, that part I'm not so sure about.
Avalance Studios
Mad Max: Teased at last year's E3 but delayed until 2015. The only reason we might not see it again is that Warner Bros. has a lot more to show than this game. Also, I'm not exactly sure where they'd put it in terms of the presentations.
Monolith Productions
Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor: E3 is the start of the hype cycle for games coming out in the latter half of the year and into the next. For that reason alone Shadows of Mordor has a fair chance of being a part of the show.
Rocksteady
Batman: Arkham Knight: Scheduled for a release this October and with little information aside from the Batmobile and a release date, an appearance at E3 is a given.
Publisher: Electronic Arts
Bioware
Dragon Age: Inquisition: Truthfully, by the time E3 comes around this game will have revealed so much that I doubt much new information will be gleaned from whatever trailer will be there. There's been a release date announcement, information about classes, and more. If I had to guess, I'd say we'll probably see a similar trailer to the last one that hit, or a brand new one that's all of two or three minutes before we move to...
Mass Effect: First off, given the fact that we know it's not going to be about Shepard, and they went out of their way to talk about all the new stuff, I'd be surprised if this were called "Mass Effect 4", and not "Mass Effect: Ominous/Mysterious Subtitle". But what we do know is that it's been in development for awhile, and that Dragon Age: Inquisition hasn't slowed development down. Knowing both of these things, I'd be shocked not to see these guys premiere ME directly after DA:I, or maybe as a "one more thing" before the EA show ends.
Criterion Games
New IP: Need For Speed developer Criterion Games is working on a new, unannounced IP that is supposedly beyond cars, that they hope to reveal this June. More games are usually welcome, so hopefully they make it to the show.
DICE
Star Wars: Battlefront: Briefly teased at the last E3, this will no doubt be a large part of Disney's attempt to capitalize off the franchise they bought, since 2015 will also see the return of Star Wars to film and the television with its new cartoon series. An E3 appearance basically just gets the hype train started early.
Mirror's Edge 2: But I'd be pretty shocked to see this one. Even though we got a good deal of information in March, a 2016 release date is too far away to start hyping when EA could pull off a pretty decent-sized conference without this.
Visceral
Amy Hennig's Star Wars game: This one should be obvious, but I figured it was worth a mention so no one got their hopes up. Considering she was basically just assigned to do this, to even say this will be in pre-production is getting one's hopes up too high. 2016 is probably the soonest we'll see this as well.
Battlefield: Police Edition/Project "Havana": Another game people are confident exist, but we haven't really seen anything from.
And that's all I have for EA. Y'know, aside from the requisite sports games that we all know will be there. But they may yet have another shock or two in store.
Valhalla Game Studios
Devil's Third: Itagaki's long in development game is supposed to finally see an update this year. Will it get a release date? And on top of that, will we finally find out what console it's on?
Publisher: Microsoft
