The Szondi Test

The test starts at around 6:00 if you're not interested in the background, but it's interesting to hear.

On to my results:

I gravitated towards the second person when the faces came up. I couldn't tell you why.

The Epileptic - 'You tend to repress emotions and let them build up'

That is incredibly spot on, and exactly how I am. The other parts are sort of accurate, I do explode in anger and sadness, but mostly sadness at times. I'm definitely very impulsive and I can get irritable easily depending on my mood.

The last part didn't apply to me though. I never was told to repress my feelings or they weren't okay when I was younger, it's just something I did.

Denial - 'You want to avoid feeling those outbursts of anger, so you tend to have a very friendly and calming disposition'

That is pretty spot on also. The part of about being seen as reliable by friends & family is pretty true as well. The last part isn't really relevant to me though, I don't tend to lash out at people. I keep it all in.

The way suggested to cope was to write in a Journal. Which is something I actually do, so that is pretty crazily accurate.

Very interesting test, it seems to hit the spot bang on in regards to me aside from a couple of things.

My results:
I made it 3 and half minutes without the test starting. Or was that the test? How long can you listen to that dude prattle on?
Starts at six minutes in. It's interesting, I would give it a go. It honestly got me spot on. I doubted it, but pretty cool.

I'm so curious what drove me to Number 2. I can't work it out. It wasn't an innocence I felt, it was more like a 'creeped out' sort of feeling. I felt uneasy the moment that person came up.

Thanks Maiden Voyage Maiden Voyage for this thread. Very interesting, and it impressed me how spot on it was able to get me.

2, 5, 8 were the ones that I picked. Intensity-wise, it's close but it goes 8, 2, 5 strongest to least. 5 looks batshit nutso but harmless; 2 looks like a serial killer with the slight tilt of the head but the type that goes after women so not a threat; and 8 looks like a sociopath ready to kill you when you turn your back regardless of who you are. My rationale was that the more of the whites of the eyes I could see, the more unhinged I felt the people were.

For 8, I've been pretty open about my sexuality throughout my life. Never felt gender dysphoria nor homosexual/bisexual tendencies.I don't really care if people are, have friend sand family who are.

I took a longer version of the test and it came back Epileptic (#2). That seems maybe relevant for when I was younger (teens & 20s). Never really had too much of a temper, but have had intense emotional events, much like everyone. Nothing out of the ordinary.

5 similar to the above. I don't mind being in the spotlight, but I don't really suppress it nor has it been a detriment in my life. I'm an extrovert.

Overall, doesn't seem so accurate for me (the test has been 'discredited' but some people seem to get positive results).

I don't think this was exactly the same test, but I did this one and my results were very spot on!
