overall poor level, sort of (in the Piano department at least), the three guys I watched, I'd say they even have bad technique, stiff shoulders, hands and wrist when playing cantabile/legato passages. didn't expect that.

Sure they play very fast and clean but heh,...

very cool from Lucas Geniusas to have the G major Tchaikovsky Concerto in his repertoire though, I love that 3rd movement. ,

Not sure if it's superior but it's definitely technically harder to play. It's a shame it's not heard often.

I like both concerti for different reasons.

The second one sounds so happy and kind of naive, in a good way, I really appreciate that. It's nice music without trying too hard or overcomplicating things, the 3rd movement is fun all the way.

It probably helps that I don't listen to it as often, whereas the B flat minor is in the repertoire of most piano competitors,

and yeah, it's hard, the cadenza of the first movement has this "presitisisisisimo" at PPPP (pianisisisisimo) lol

Yeah, #1 is way overdone. I get that the tunes are pretty but man. #2 has that amazing second movement (in its original version with the solos, at least).
