The thumb strap for the DS is stupid, where's the 'power thumb?'

The thumb strap is the most obvious afterthought for DS touch screen manipulation.

Where is the 'power thumb?' By that, I mean a thimble style glove for your thumb made specifically for the DS. That's what I pictured when I first heard about a thumb device for the DS. Slip it on your thumb (you'd need some sort of adjustable strab to tighten it to different thumb sizes) and play. No worries about string dangling on the screen, or the little nub not feeling secure.

I want a slip on Power Thumb for my DS. I hope Nintendo, or at the very least, Madcatz or some other 3rd party makes one.

The thumb-analog doesn't get in the way and it doubles and a nice wrist strap.
I'm sure we'll see plenty of DS accessories like the one you want soon.

Enough with the dead pixels remarks. It's like you guys never read any of the information given before you. It's going to happen on any LCD product. There's no technology around nowadays that I know of that will prevent this. If you want Nintendo to throw out units that some people perfectly accept as decent, and raise prices. Fine. But somehow I think a $200 DS won't fair very well against the PSP. Even with Sony not issuing a zero dead pixel policy.

I don't understand how it can be considered a wriststrap. If you're not using the thumbdana, you can't wrap it around your wrist and still play. At least I can't. What gives?

Not meant to be used at the same time, I don't think.

i don't think i've ever actually seen anyone use a wriststrap on their cellphone for anything more than pulling it out of their pocket (i personally leave the strap dangingly so i can just tug on it instead of pulling the whole phone out.

You are talking about a phone right? And not your wang?

Maybe I'll do a mock up of what I have in mind and post it in a few days. It'll be all 3D and shite. Shite is okay to say right? Otherwise I'll edit.

Oh man I forgot about that one. Its amazing the number of Nintendo devices that simply sucked ass. Anyways, I liked the touch on the DS - not a fan of the small screens though.
