Can't wait for the new season to commence.
Looks like Elliot Page will still be playing as a girl, (at least in the beginning)
if this teaser is anything to go by.

Ugh, season 2 was sooo bad. All I care about know is the time buearu kid and he's gotta be 20 by now.

Fully expect an entire episode to Ellen's characters "transition" and then a title card change from Ellen to Elliot (if Netflix hasn't gone back to so that on previous seasons already.

This show is a real piece of shit compared to the comic series. It's interesting to see Eliot Page stealing a potential acting role from a woman, seems rather inconsiderate in a traditionally male dominated industry.

i kinda enjoyed S1 but couldn't deal with S2 it was awful. Read the graphic novels and loved them. This show is such a disappointment.

Umbrella Acadamey credits have already been updated. I think that was done back when Elliot announced their transition. Same also goes for the movie Tallulah (2016).

I'll be interested to see how they deal with it in S3 (not that I'm watching it).

Why did some of y'all hate season 2?
It wasn't the BEST but I quite liked it after everyone got back together ... Or were starting to... Yeah, it was almost a complete retread of season 1... But I liked that Allison got married and her husband understood. Hated that she had to leave him.

I don't remember why (it's been too long) but I recall my wife and I not liking it. Probably won't return to season 3.

Love the comic but couldn't get into the show. Wish the movie would have panned out. I'm allergic to most television series, even the good ones. It's weird. They just feel fake to me.

I really enjoyed season 2 but did not like Elliot's character arc at all, the husband in that family unit wasn't even a bad guy and Elliott's character is trying to get it on with the wife. Blergh.

And I really am worried that they'll change the sex of Elliott's character, I read that old Twitter/Instagram posts changed "she/her" to "they/their".
I don't care if straight people play gay/trans characters, I don't care if gay/trans people play straight characters. What I hate is the production company changing things to accommodate an actor. Elliot should be professional and let the production company do what they want.

Really enjoyed both seasons and looking forward to this.
I was intrigued what they were going to do with Paige. As others mentioned I wouldn't be surprised if there was a transition of some sort in the season.

I'd prefer that the character remained a female and there is no reason not to as it's acting, not real life.

The ending of Season 1 was such a cop out that I absolutely refused to watch Season 2.

That being said, I no longer know what to watch.

Was season 2 any good, and did it at least end without a cop out ending?

If you didn't like cop out in S1, then S2 ending is just as bad and also pretty bad overall!

It ends setting up the next season again if that's what you mean by "cop out"

Well I really liked season 1 and was ok with season 2. I'm ok with Elliot Page as a bad guy/girl in season 1 but everything about him in season 2 was bad. Still Aidan Gallagher as nr 5 was so good with rest of the cast beaing solid that I still look forward to season 3.

The Vanya character should have been treated the same way as in the comics.

Instead of being knocked out as at the end of season 1 of the show, she's shot in the head and all future appearances in the comic series she's unable to walk and presented as bedridden/wheelchair bound with amnesia.
