The geniuses that created the mall district in my area has 4 video game stores within walking distance. How they make money is beyond me. Nothing is ever sold out and each store gets fucked over by Walmart which usually has the lowest launch price that they have to match. Although it is difficult because the dropouts/seniors that work the electronics department at Walmart don't know that the Nintendo DS exists, so whenever I want to pricematch a DS game the gamestop guy is yelling at the Walmart grandma "DS you fucking moron, WarioWare for the DS. Not Gameboy."
 
This year Ive only brought jak 3, but I had so many games on my shelf to play there was no need to buy any more games. Ive had to play Zelda: MM, Zelda: Master quest, prince of persia: WW, metroid prime 2, MGS3 again and Im playing DMC again just to make sure thaat I can handle the difficulty of DMC3:P Fifa streets, GT4 and DMC3 are coming very shortly.

I need to buy some PC games. I've only been playing World of Warcraft. I think I'll pre-order Guild Wars, and I may get the new Freedom Force soon. I'd also like to get God of War for the PS2 as well. But I'm waiting for a price drop as adventure games like that don't offer me enough replay to spend $50 anymore.

On impulse I layed down 20 dollars at EB when I heard they were able to take a few more pre orders for the PSP. But I'm leaning towards not buying because I could use that money for the new Xbox releasing later this year.


But geez I just realized that I've seriously slowed down buying 50 dollar games nowdays. Almost all the games I listed were bought used,Doom3 I still dunno if I'm commited to paying 60 dollars for,but I do love the classic run/gun play a whole lot so I'll probably trade a few games for it at the mall. I do have a backlog of about 10 games I haven't even opened. So new games don't really bother me that much since I just play what I currently have backlogged,I'm pretty much set in that I can wait for current games to drop in price.

SpikeOut and Sega Classics are must havs for me. I need Virtua Racing on my PS2 badly,I've worn out the 32X version nowdays,heh. Hopefully its *close* to its model One Grand Father.
