Someone please slap me if this has already been discussed to death/promptly debunked. I found it on GameFAQs, who got it from nintendo culture.

The press release for their conference.
"We've just taken what you could call the first step of the process. This is the first time I've ever had my next project announced before it's even entered development, and because of that, I fear that players will be forced to wait even longer than they expect to. Please be patient." - Sakurai
I know, that should be the point of my post. should have written "leak"
the worst case is PS360 Version of the games but WiiU games confirmed, so no real WiiU footage
The background behind the Metroid logo seems to be from the Metroid Prime: Trilogy opening/trailer. I also think the "4" should be gray like the "2" and "3" in Echoes and Corruption. Otherwise, it looks pretty convincing.
Yeah i agree, it really looks close to, but yet different to, the trilogy logo. And while the "4" seems out of place the whole "prime 4" is well centered...
Huh, I could have sworn the Software Showcase was going to be showing Wii U titles on the show floor going by a certain poster. He seemed so certain too!
Any chance that GTA V will be shown during Nintendo's E3 Conference? I guess if it doesn't appear in Sony's we can assume that.

Sakurai has mentioned several times that he wouldn't start Smash Brothers until Kid Icarus was done. They've had two months, so I think they could have easily pieced together a teaser if they wanted to...
So because EA was under NDA they couldn't announce any games for WiiU, but other -much smaller- companies can? (Slightly Mad Studios/PCars, etc)
Why didn't Nintendo "allow" EA to "advertise" their -future- products/titles themselves?
I assume you don't have a capable pc.I hope Borderlands 2 comes to Wii U. Don't want to buy the PS3 version

Its a tough call.It has the NFC reader/writer in the right spot but it would have to be a dev kit controller because the TV button is blank
- The circle pads/analog sticks are too close to the screen
- The NFC marker is closer to the D-pad than the newest images show (It should be halfway between the bottom of the D-pad and the bottom of the screen)
- The "Wii U" logo is further right and larger than latest images
I might just be getting confused by the angle, but I'd say it's a definite fake.
I thing it might have more to do with EA actually being at Nintendo's show, like how they were on stage last year briefly.

How does the NDA-thing work really?
I do. My friends don't.I assume you don't have a capable pc.
Man that Rising demo was really good, that needs to be on WiiU.

After watching that trailer I'm absolutely convinced the violence in video games has hit a ridiculous level. Absolutely unnecessary.
There wasn't even any blood, and the damn bodies disappeared.
"Unnecessary", get real. Don't watch any R-Rated movies, buddy.
Lol, is there a video of this somewhere?Even worse was Geoff Keighley freaking out like a psychopath after it happened.
Settle down. It's an opinion. If you don't like it, add me to your ignore list, "buddy."

That said PCars for instance hasnt been too vocal besides yeah we will discuss Wii U more and of course leaked documents. They arent actively showing off

(from their frontpage)
...but I see what you're saying and you're probably right.
Rayman will be demoed on Wii-U!
There arent really that many games that doesnt have some form of violence in them. Even Mario Kart has violent element in it. I guess the "unnecessary violence" referred to earlier is to chop people up in tons of pieces. It looks pretty violent indeed. I'm not sure about Metal Gear Solid Rising, but i remember to have this feeling for both Manhunt and Postal. Unnecessary violence in these games.
No, he has a point in general. Video games are becoming rather narrow in terms of the sort of content they focus on - and that content tends to focus on violence. Usually with guns. Lots of explosions. Some QTEs here and there.
