Speaking of which, I'll create one when I get home.GAF has been terrible the last few months. It goes down for seemingly no reason a lot lately. It stands no chance at E3. If you guys are intent on chatting with the people here alone, just put up an IRC channel or use some online chat room.

I must say (!), it doesn't really inspire confidence, does it?GAF has been terrible the last few months. It goes down for seemingly no reason a lot lately. It stands no chance at E3. I have one ready actually.Speaking of which, I'll create one when I get home.
I have one ready actually.
It's on the same server as GAF's irc channel, and the nflgaf irc channel.
The lurkers would be delighted to meet you all.

Gracias.http://cbe003.chat.mibbit.com/?server=irc.wiicafe.com&channel=#nintengaf
Or if you're using a client:
irc.wiicafe.com
#nintengaf
studio64.yi.org will also work.
The IRC channel imo. Forums are a hassle.
pssshtt save the paragraphs for post-E3. But during the conferences and tingz, much more fun to have people flipping out quickly. The IRC is great. Only thing is that it might move too fast and it's mostly just chatting rather than paragraphs of discussion.
Why would we need paragraphs during a conference. The IRC is great. Only thing is that it might move too fast and it's mostly just chatting rather than paragraphs of discussion.
So LoSII coming to Wii U just got me to thinking. What a damn shame it is that we never got a Castlevania game on Wii (Judgement notwithstanding) that integrated Motion+ for the whip mechanics.
Look, I dunno how precise they could've gotten the controls or how calibration would work, but I see it as one of those huge missed opportunities up there with the whole not getting a proper lightsaber game debacle.
At the least, they could've brought the arcade game over. I suppose that game either sucked or Judgement was one of those failed "tests." I love my epic Castlevanias and all, but I'd also love to take out some aggression WiiMote style in bite-sized portions. At its core, Castlevania is about "whipping the shit out of zombies and skeletons" and the fact I haven't been able to do that with a Wii Remote is disappoint.
Where's the IRC channel?

I always thought a whip or whiplike weapon would work better with Wii controls than a sword, because a whip's handle can "keep going" even after the whip hits something.
Happy birthday, birthday buddy!May 24th is the best day of the year...for it is MY birthday too.
Happy birthday, Ace!
Metro LL looks pretty promising. How was Metro 2033 on the consoles?
Yoshi's story 2. Make it happen ninty.
I know you're talking about a new Castlevania game but we did get Rondo of Blood

Judgement is still bizarre to me.
I always wanted a Wii CV that was 2D side scroller, where you aimed the whip using the IR pointer and cracked it by flicking the nunchuk.
Already been released, it's called Yoshi Topsy Turvy for GBA and it sucks as much as Yoshi Story.
welcome to communitySo, Wii U talk fell off a cliff or has it been like this for the past month? Haven't been keeping up.

Yoshi's Island DS was actually called Yoshi's Island 2 pre-release.
