I'd love to dual boot Windows 11 and Android on my Galaxy Tab S7+. There's someone attempting to port it to the Surface Duo as well, I'd like to try that one out too. Surprised how well it runs on a SD845.

I forgot I even owned one

It was pretty chill at the time, not sure why I got rid of it

I was a huge fan of blackberry but the windows phone was fun too.

Eventually got an iPhone and haven’t looked back

They’re all great, no clue if they even still make blackberries. Their keyboards were phenomenal on some of their phones.

Same. Honestly, Android and iOS still don't compare to the Snappy-ness of Windows Phone 8.1, not to mention that dedicated camera button. The Nokia 1020 still holds a candle to the cameras available today especially with the lack of features of the iOS camera app.
Things like camera buttons are an OEM hardware thing more than a software one.

My Nokia 808 PureView had a two-stage camera button, and a lock slider that you could long pull to turn on the torch. Plus hardware answer, reject, and menu buttons. And a Xenon flash. And an easily replaceable battery. And a back you could replace with different colours. And it was good quality plastic, so didn't crack.

Even Symbian became very touch friendly and easy to developer for with Qt.

That camera... My brand new phone doesn't even come close. I could take sharp pictures in the middle of the night. No issue. It was fantastic.

I will say this, the Lumia was built like a brick.

I was skateboarding a lot at the time and that phone when through an unbelievable amount of abuse. the phone was durable as fuck.

Well Microsoft makes the best SMS organizer for phones. I found it extremely useful compared with googles default sms messenger.

That UI for a smartphone is a mess, that's why they invented the tabs, which were pretty good on Windows Phone.

I had a Lumia 1520 and it was excellent, while my other Samsung Note 2 was a brick after 3 years.

I really liked the whole Windows 8 type phone. It looks so good and easy to use. My aunt had one back then and wow it was so easy to use. Google phone and iPhone are very similar in there look styles of the main GUI interface anyway. Features are a bit different though as sharing can be easier on google phones. But yeah I wish if anything microsoft can get into it would be phones again.

Yeah, I am nowhere near a power phone user so simple texting is the majority of my use case, and my Windows Phone was excellent at that. It was so far ahead of the old default Google messenger it isn't funny. The new version is much better, but I still love the one for Windows Phone.

Download the Microsoft SMS organizer on google play. It works superbly.
