I've really enjoyed both games immensely, but overall enjoyed Witcher 3 more.

I actually prefer DS3 over BB in terms of Souls games anyway.

I chose Witcher 3, and I don't have an xbox nor play on my "gaming" PC. Everyone will vote according to his/her preference, no need for framing and naming people. I don't like Bloodborne but acknowledge that many love it so much and dying for a remaster on PS5. Same with Demon's Souls and other Dark Souls games, I don't play those nor like them.

Bloodborne has a beautifully, if nightmarishly designed world, both visually and gameplay wise level design was memorable and crafted very well as FROM learned a lot after making Dark Souls , amazing bosses and intriguing lore. Its a classic, memorable videogame biggest issue its technically a bit rough with the framerate pacing and a few visual effects, but even then was a mostly locked 30fps.and we might end up with a PS5 version anyways, its one of the few games i would give a perfect 10 and i know im not alone on this

Witcher 3 has a beautifully designed open world, but everything else its just not up to Bloodborne or even that special imo.
 
Yeah, but isnt BB the only exclusive right now from FS as soulbourne game from current gen? That cant be a coincidence.

Yeah bo doubt because the combat sucks and input too. 😅

Anyhow i hope Sony or From do a patch for 60fps of BB that's the only thing to fix BB for me. I love both games but prefer BB. To me this is a good match and I'm not surprised of how it's going.

The Witcher 3 had the unfortunate distinction of releasing just a few days after I finished my Bloodborne playthrough. It's a great RPG, with some of the best writing in an open-world game. But it's still an open-world game, and that comes with a set of drawbacks (particularly for games not named Breath of the Wild). It's great, but Bloodborne is on a whole other level.
 
Man. Currently we're at 290 votes for The Witcher III, and 293 votes for Bloodborne. This is a tight race. Is this the closest it has been compared to all of the other competitions so far?
 
Haven't played Witcher 3 on DM beyond a few hours, but I can't imagine at any point it poses more of a challenge than Ebrietas, Orphan of Kos, Defiled Watchdog, or Headless Bloodletting Beast.

I would say it's not a fair one though, The Witcher is a multiplat that's found on PS4/XboX One/PC/Switch. While Bloodborne is only PS4 exclusive.

True. You get lost in that world. Witcher 3 and Breath of the Wild are unmatched experiences. BB is just another From game.
 
How do we get all of GAF in here to settle this? Is there a sticky board? Can we pester someone high up to get focus on this tournament now that it's entering the final stretch. If BB and TW3 is this tight, TW3 and BoTW is going to be tighter than an Asain woman.

Okay, okay. We'll see how this pans out, it couldn't possibly get any tighter but Bloodborne wouldn't stand a chance against BoTW and that's coming from someone who thinks BoTW is a solid 7, an 8 at the very best. Too many people out there viewing the games through green smoke if ya know what I mean.

Bloodborne and Breath of the Wild will be a touch choice for me. Exploratron is something I enjoy and games and Souls games do a good job of utilizing every nook and cranny and the reward for exploring is always tangible, but Breath of the Wild is on the level of Morrowind or World of Warcraft as far as open worlds go.

It's a preference though, lol. I didn't play Bloodborne nor that genre appeals to me, while The Witcher 3 is one of my best games of all time.

That might not be a bad scenario for me. Even though I voted for The Witcher here, I slightly prefer BotW and would hate to vote against TW3. I would have NO such misgivings voting for BotW against Bloodborne.
