That's great, W101 needs more love.
Fox's VA is pretty weird, it's Fox' original VA but he sounds really nerdy while saying "LAND MASTER" and very manly while saying anything else

Takamaru's game (can't remember the name) had music in Brawl even though it had no representation other than that. It's happened before.

There is a Rayman trophy in the game. That's crazier than this, imo.

EDIT: Brawl also had a 1080 song (Golden Forest) and probably some other random game music from retro stuff.

You hear it fairly early in the game and its leitmotif is quite present.
