Battlefield was the best game of the show. Halo Multiplayer looked great. Sea of thieves did really come unexpected and looked awesome. Sadly the gameplay isnt for me.
Forza Horizon leading the genre as it always did. Never started me to play it, probably wont do it again but for people that like it. awesome.
All in all one of the best Xbox E3's of all time. But that really is not saying much. Hope it had some epic moments for others, for me it was decent showing but nothing that made me "damn" but a few, ohh looks nice. gonna check it out. Arkanes game COULD be fun, only cinematic.

Liked Plague Tale 2, the JRPG duology whose name escapes me, Psychonauts 2 and Stalker 2. Sorta spaced out at everything else. It was all so... samey.

What MS are doing is undeniable. Within a couple of years, she sheer volume of titles will make gamepass too compelling to pass up. I will grab a series X then.
I just think it's a pity that they do not have one absolutely cutting edge title. Stalker 2 should not the best game in your line up (although it looked ace).
Halo was especially disappointing. Series S clearly an absolute lead weight on development.

Solid show overall. Halo and BF 2042 segments were choppy and that Redfall ending was trash. Rest of show was good.
Cant wait to see what Sony and Nintendo show at E3.

Looked forward to this show. As i've been pretty disappointed by Sony recently and as I did not grab a next gen console, I thought why not jump ship to Xbox ?

I'm not going to rate the show. I'm not interested in buying an Xbox.
Looks like Psychonauts and Forza Horizon are expected to carry 2021. That's not much. Everything else has a 2022 or 2023 timestamp.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The MS rushed their launch. This has all the markings of a Holiday 2021 console. The 2022 dates are going to be missed by like half those games. Their 2022 is what Sony is pumping out in 2021. I can't believe they pitched Halo as a Holiday 2020 game. What kind of fucking pipedream was that? It might not even make 2021.
In a bid to prevent Sony from getting a headstart, they pretty much sold fans a lie, and that has to be abundantly clear right now. Don't blame COVID, this was a bait and switch, plain and simple. They could never have the games for 2020, even if there wasn't a pandemic. They were prepping BC games the whole time.
Anyway, Starfield, Forza Horizon, Replaced, and Somerville were games I want to see more of. The rest I don't much care for. I'm not an FPS fan, so some of the bigger names were lost on me. If you own an Xbox, I just hope you were satisfied with the presser.

There are a couple of things I missed, but overall I thought the presentations was great. Has to be the best MS conference in years it feels like.
I'm coming from Ubisofts shitshow yesterday though so we'll see how it stacks up at the end of E3 when everyone have had their presentations.

I'm looking forward to some next-gen RPGs/JRPGs. Hoping Square pulls through.
Also, the evolution from Xbox Gold vs.PS+ has been interesting. I think Microsoft has done a great job to add value to a subscription service.

It was a great showing for Gamepass, lots of games coming to it both new and old. Psychonauts 2 was the best game of the show for me. The new Forza Horizon was graphically most impressive for sure.
A couple other standouts were Replaced and Eiyuden. Stalker 2 has great lighting. Redfall seems promising but gotta see some gameplay first.
Starfield was the biggest disappointment, no gameplay still?
Overall a good show, better than MS have had in a while. Not many surprises though.

I am disappointed to say the least. They did not deliver. None of the games they showed last year in CG form were at the show.

I wouldnt be surprised if this is also on last gen consoles even though Phil said its designed from the ground up on next gen consoles (Where have we heard that before.)
The rest of it was just a lot of fluff. Stalker looked the best out of the lot, but looks like metro on PC. Not a lot of next gen stuff. I am just very disappointed by both first party publishers. Angry with Sony, but mostly just disappointed by MS who are honest but they just cant seem to deliver even with 23 studios. I wished Bluepoint and KojiPro had gone to Microsoft instead of Sony after Sonys cross gen stance, but now I am not sure. MS just doesnt know how to manage their studios.
