While in Big Picture mode, click on the setting cog in the top right corner.
Under controller > controller settings, make sure the "Xbox Extended Feature Support" is turned on. If it isn't, you will be prompted to restart your computer.
If you rebooted, go back to controller settings.
At the bottom of your screen, click on "Xbox One Elite Series 2 Controller," click on "preference" and you'll see an RGB slider.

Wake me up when they have there own equivalent to Dual Sense.
I think I'll stick with a control that doesn't break after 3 months thanks

I'm on my 4th dualsense since launch….2 of them developed stick drift and all 3 had issues with the r2/l2 spring breaking

great idea from Sony but a big fucking f for build quality

Cool but strange it's not an option on console?

also weird that they would use a different LED in that thing... like why? it's weird.

maybe they all have the same LED, but why does Steam then not support it on the others? questions... more and more of them lol

Yea I bought a couple extra DualSenses with those kind of reports. So I'm good with backups.

Series X controller is still going strong out of the box though.

I am kinda worried because one of mine already has more drift than my PS4 controller... I play Apex on 0 deadzone + 13 sensitivity curve, this results in a non existent deadzone but basically zero drift on my PS4 controller, but on my DualSense it drifts noticeably to the right on the same settings... that was very fast

You really drank the Sony marketing kool aid huh? I have both consoles and dual sense is the biggest piece of shit controller i've ever used. battery life is doo doo and the trigger springs are garbage and not fit for purpose. They should do a product recall on Dual sense.

The drift sorta comes out of nowhere…with the ps4 control you could feel it slowly but the dualsense it's literally like a switch goes off and it decides to crap out

the pricing on the controllers is also fucking stupid…seems to be the Sony $10 charge again as they charge you 10 bucks more for the red controller and it's exactly the same controller as the white

don't worry they will soon enough... Phil has already ordered the team to copy it. ..lol

They copied the share button to the bone...
This thread is attracting all of the big brains tonight :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Wow man Xbox had analogue triggers and wireless technology first, can't believe glorious Nippon based Sony copied those features… To tHE bOnE. Messaging system, parties, achievements, online handles - Ken Kutaragi ORDERED the team to copy it.

I imagine when you try to wear a condom it just falls off.

You mean the PS3 was delayed 😁.

They copied the share button, and it's great the Series X controller has useable d-pad. Now they're sending out surveys about the DualSense's features - and for good reason given how much difference they can make, and how popular they are with many PS5 owners.

From Xbox One launch to the Series X - the Xbox controller's bumpers have gone thru at least 4 revisions.
Launch XB1 (rev 1) was complete trash because you could only press the ends of them.
Revision 2 fixed the press angle (which Elite 1 used) was also bad because the plastic lever snaps.
The 3rd bumper revision fixes the piece that breaks.

Xbox Series X goes to bumper revision 4 where the feel of the bumpers are simply superior to the other 3 (along with it not breaking).
But - the bumpers still arent updated on the Elite Series 2!
Even the new Halo Elite 2 are stuck using revision 3. Massive overlook in my opinion.

I really like the crazy colours that Microsoft knock out. I wish Sony would do the same with the dualsense, I'd love bright green, purple or yellow. Not sure about the prolapse analogue sticks though.

Sony will charge you 10 bucks more for the privilege

ms are not innocent either of charging extra for different colours (5 bucks) but at least they still make a solid controller that won't break after a couple of months…..and they are about $30 cheaper

Cool. It seems like everything gaming related is getting RGB these days. Even my mouse pad has an RGB border.

Say WHaaaat?
I did not know this. I have this controller but it stays in it's zipp case most of the time for fear of wearing it out.
I hear tell that a future update for the standard controllers will let you switch between two devices by double clicking the connect button. neato

That's cool; odd that they never advertised that, though?

Now I really cannot wait for my Halo Infinite Elite Series 2 to arrive...
