Invoking the name "Martin Luther King” and screaming “Black Power!” a gang of up to 30 black teens attacked four white girls in Marine Park

and in other news a pack of Indians attack some random people in the name of Ghandi

well, i dunno how much of a beating these 30 people gave the 4 when only two were hospitalized, with seemingly insignificant injuries... it's not like they dragged them by a noose with a truck

eh.. this sucks.. though I agree with I don't know how much of a beating it could be.. we have had like 4 major beatings here in the past three years (major being more than 20 people involved) and every single one of them saw the person die (actually the correct term would be "mutilated beyond recognition")...

still sucks, just wondering how bad it could be when all they were treated for was a broken bone or two and some cuts and scrapes.

Yeah, I don't think it matters if it wasn't "really bad," the fact that some repulsive people would do such a thing is wrong no matter how you slice it. Really makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside about humanity eh?

Wanna feel all warm and fuzzy? How about that one teenager hacked to death with a machete by a group of punks, oh, sorry, I mean "gang", in broad daylight on an elevated Bronx train platform a couple days ago.

Wow, Marine Park is about a 15-20 minute drive from me, yet I heard nothing about this. They must be keeping it hush-hush, since it hasn't been in the NY papers (and I fail to see why such an incident wouldn't merit at least a blurb in the NY dailies rather than only in Brooklyn-specific papers like the Bay News etc.


Very sad.
