I'm just going to go through the most important events that happened in season 3 of The Shield, then I will discuss the new actors coming to season 4:
Season 3's most important events:
-the first episode of S3 starts off where the final episode of S2 ended. The strike team store the armenian's money in a storage and cannot touch it. Now it seems the armenian's are pissed and are going around cutting people's feets off.
-Dutch and a treasury agent investigates the killing of two armenians, and the treasury agent tells acevada that there were marked bills from the stolen money. Acevada is handed a paper that has the serial numbers from the marked bills.
-At this point, the strike team is going worried. They go to the storage and start looking through every bill to see if it's fake.
-In comes Mara, Shane's fiance. She's been a problem for the strike team. Shane took money from the storage to buy her Lexus, and Mara found a key to a lock box and found some marked bills to give to her mom, which in the end, her mother gambled with the marked money.
-Tavon played a pretty important role in S3. Tavon was an outstanding cop, and was getting on Vic's good side, but Shane, the racist hillbilly, was getting jealous. Tavon tells Vic that he wants a transfer, because of Shane and himself not getting along. Vic tells Tavon to go to Shane's house and make amends. Shane tells Tavon that he won't let a darkie come between him and Vic. Tavon throws a punch, and they both fight. Mara comes in and clocks Tavon in the head with an iron. Tavon gets into his van, passes out, flies out the window, and is pretty much fucked. He doesn't really remember anything......yet.
-Lem, usually a follower in the show, gets a pretty important role also in S3. Now Lem is pretty fond of Tavon. They get together pretty well, and when Vic tells Lem about how Shane and Mara put Tavon in the hospital, Lem gets pretty pissed. This is where Lem and Shane start to not like each other. What's even worse is that when Vic visits Tavon at the hospital, Tavon says that he'll give out his side of the story to I.A., and Vic knows this is going to be a problem.....
-Vic tells Lem to visit Tavon and lie to him that he clocked Mara in the stomache. Tavon starts to cry saying how sorry he was, and this PISSES Lem off. Just another sign that the strike team is falling apart.
-The strike team figures out a plan and gather the rest of the marked bills and put it into an envelop so that an Irish Man, O Brian, with a wrap sheet as long as my dick could take and it get caught by Treasury, which ends up happening.
-My memory is a bit hazy, but some how, Vic finds O Brian and tells him that he's in trouble. The armenian mob is hunting him down and will kill. Vic gives him money so he can book it to Mexico where he'll be safe. Turns out at the end, the Armenian mob found him and killed him. The strike team rushes to the scene to get O Brian and dispose the body before Acevada and Treasury agent get to him first.
-At this point, Lem is freaking out. He has an ulcer, because he's scared shitless. Vic tells the strike team that they need to move the money some place else. Guess who's the driver with the money? Lem, and he takes the course, goes to the place where they threw O Brian into a fireplace, and burns most of the money. Vic, Shane, and Ronnie enter, and Shane is pointing a gun at Lem. All three ends up wrestling Lem down.
-Lem tells Vic that he's requesting to leave the strike team. Vic thinks this is a bad idea, because it'll add more to the problems of treasury and acevada eventually leading the crimes to the strike team. Vic tells lem wait until everything is cooled down, then he can leave.
-In the end, the strike team finds the person killing all these people who are suspected of stealing the armenian's money. Vic is hiding in a house where the man comes to, and Vic kills him.
-Season 3 ends with a cliffhanger. The strike team meets in a quite spot at night, and they want to apologize to Lem. Shane as usual, opens his mouth and pisses off Lem. Lem leaves and Vic tells Ronnie to go after him. Vic and Shane get into each other's face yelling, and Shane says something to Vic that pisses him off. Vic gets out his gun, and tells Shane to leave. At this point, Vic is shedding some tears.
