I'm thinking about getting a cheap laptop computer. Mostly for goofing around on; not planning on doing heavy gaming with it. I'd be using it mostly as a game/web development computer. But an occasional World of Warcraft session isn't out of the question.
The problem is that I'm poor. I'd prefer something under $800 total and would definitely prefer a monthly payment plan over a few years (so it doesn't hit my wallet all at once).
The best I've found so far is a Dell Inspiron 6000- 1.4mhz Celeron M processor, 512mb RAM, 40mb HD, crappy integrated graphics card, etc., for about $800/$26/month.
Anyone have any other suggestions and/or experience with this? Not even sure if I'm going to take the dive and buy one at all, but I'd like to hear feedback or suggestions.
Thanks.
