Just bought a 12month live subscription card and when i entered it, the freaking thing says the code is invalid, what the f*** is this

I just had a similar experience with two free year cards and a single two month card I tried to use (never had Live before and was saving these). I wonder if it's because the Xbox is Canadian and I'm in the US.

My xbox is made in Mexico, I live in Honduras and I ordered my Live Pack on store from USA and I've been playing 4 months.
You should check the number again some characters aremisleading if you use a sharp object to scratch it.

It could be the upper-case lower-case thing. I can't remember if it's the issue for the 12 month cards, but for the 2 month free trials they print the cards with all upper-case letters, yet you're suppose to enter them in lower case. Nice.

In any case you can call Xbox live support and they'll be able to help you out.

Can you use these cards to renew your existing Xbox Live subscription? Sometimes people report these cards being clearanced at Target. I'll pay <$20 if it allows me to keep my account for another year

I'm of the opinion that 0s and Os should never be allowed in registration codes.

Oh, well.

i recently used a 1 year card i'd been saving for like 2 years and it worked fine. i did screw up the entry the first time, but once i fixed the error, it was fine.

also, the xbox live customer service line has been really good for me. they'll probably help you out if you call.
