Four on Four Team Slayer, and two of my team dropped right away (in seconds). Myself and Vicx05 moved as a unit and owned the other four guys - they were running from us for a while!
Great, great game. I am just now really getting into the online portion and have not seen any of the imbalance issues I've seen complained of here, but then I'm still fairly low level. It could be that none of the guys I play with are experienced enough to exploit them, but for now I'm have a great time in every game I play (the odd disconnect issue asside).

That's fine - many of my kills were PP/magnum and PP/SMG combos - it's a legit strategy. (That's what I say now. Watch me bitch up a storm in the morning. :lol )

Tonight in ranked team slayer on Accension, I picked up the launcher and so went for the banshee. The launcher hadn't been fired when I got in. As I was cruising around I saw the launcher respawn not about a minute after I picked it up. Some dude was getting it so I had to dump the ride and take him out on my way down.
No one quit during the whole game, and I was not seeing things. The launcher just respawned, simple as that. I dunno.

Is Weapon Stay even an option in Halo 2? When I was making a custom game, I couldn't find it. I don't like the fact that only a few people or one person can hoard the rocket launcher and sniper rifles. The weapons in Halo 2 are balanced pretty well, with the exception of the sword, but it's not near the balance that UT2004 has.

That's a remarkably good idea actually. I mean the biggest problem with the red time advantage is on the CTF FAST levels. and once a team gets the flag half way it's basically unstoppable because they contest it when they spawn, so the time factor is a real good idea.
