Whether or not this is faked, I don't doubt a kid could do that.
Hell, when I was 4/5 I marked my best times in Super Mario Bros (around 10 minutes when I used the warps).
I can also remember when I was six, Mega Man 2 came out, and within a month I was able to easily beat Mega Man II on the harder of the two initial difficulty levels in well under an hour (I want to say 45 minutes but my memory is terrible).
Sadly, while I'm still better than a great deal of people when it comes to 2D action/platforming games, my skills have atrophied severely since then. Mega Man Anniversary Collection only served to remind me of that sad fact. :lol
In any case, whether or not that particular vid was faked, I have no doubt that a child could do what was shown there if s/he was as obsessed with video games as I was (and still am
